One of the worst hotel, I experienced, so called General Manager is so rude over mobile, may be his parents didn't teach him how to talk with guests. Except few staff others are not cooperative. Food in buffet is horrible. So called lake view is not more then gutter view. They promise us for pick and drop, but refused by GM In front of me to his staff. I advised all to avoid this hotel if you don't want humiliation. I am surprised to see good review, may be all review is sponsored by hotel management only.

It was much more comfortable to reach the hotel than I expected… well connected to roads and it's view outside is also remarkable. The service of staff is commendable… they provide each and everything of your use which are you in need… the hotel is very beautiful.

Rooms are pretty fine… But restaurant service is I must say is pathetic. Super slow however food was ok.

The place has nice views of lake. Food menu is extensive and delicious. The rooms are large, nice and comfortable. Room service is also good. Only downside would be price and delay in early morning check ins. The place is not on main Street, but I actually preferred the silence.

I would have ideally given this hotel a 3.5, but 4 would be too generous so I went with 3. We were initially given room 614, which had a stale smell and very old school design to the room. Upon complaining of the smell, we were promptly given room 407 (service is courteous), which too had the stale smell. The rooms themselves are big but the property is clearly old and does not stand against modern ones. Given that this is Ranchi, which is neither a business or tourism hub, I would believe this will still not be a bad choice given the limited options. However, it will by no means leave you feel pampered.

Le Lac Sarovar Portico is a great hotel with ample parking space. The rooms are well furnished and spacious. The food is good in à la carte, buffet is average. The room service is a bit time taking and the housekeeping is a bit poor. But the location is excellent. Food and beverages are reasonable. Overall great experience! Looking forward for my next visit.

The hotel is nothing special but comfortable and clean. The fitness room is small and the equipment is old and not that well laid out. First room had awful drains smell but management changed room without much of a fuss. Breakfast simple. Good value for money for Ranchi and better than others at similar price.

The bar ambience is average. There is an open air area for smokers. On a cool night with light breeze, it's very comfortable. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. I just had butter naan and dal, and it was satisfactory.

The location and food is very good. Staff is helpful. Rates are also not very high. Airport is well accessible.

Nice Hotel. The best thing about is that it is situated in the center of town, so you can go to any place easily. Although, the room beverages and washroom cleanliness needs improvement. Nice spacious rooms, with very good views, outside.

Nice hotel located in heart of the city. If you have businesses in town then it’s best otherwise you need to cross crowded main road at peak hours. Hotel is good nicely maintained and good service as such.

Nice place to stay. Placed in the heart of city. So you will face a lot of traffic to reach there during peak hours. Hotel staff are nice and friendly.

The hotel is in the city, away from airport. The access to the hotel is not good. The hotel is ok. Rooms and restaurants need maintenance. Just stayed for one night. Food was also ok, nothing great. Service was slow. You had to wait for everything. Even check out took me 20 minutes.

Excellent hotel, limited menu however food is very tasty. Service is very good. They are using the services of local cable TV which gives you limited options and is difficult to manoeuvre.

Quaint stay. Average amenities. Rooms good. Breakfast fair, with multiple fruit / veg juices, three fresh cut fruits, two or three kinds of Indian breakfast options. Western options very limited. Rooms spacious, but bathroom tiles not anti-skid and there's no anti-skid bath mat. In room choice of complimentary beverages very limited.

The hotel is located at a nice place, over looking a lake, on a quiet, deserted street. The service is a little slow, when I visited there, there was electrical outage twice within half an hour, probably it was a bad day to visit. The ambiance in their pub "Chill" is good, but it was there was not much crowd. The food is average. Also the parking space inside is limited.

This hotel is near to pond. U can see a beautiful scene through lee lac windows… It's sweet room is awesome. Nd there is also gym salon Nd bar. So u can enjoy.

I would rate this place 4 stars as it is an excellent place the atmosphere is positive staff are well manered a nice view of pond water can also be seen.

The service is really bad. They won't even bother to switch on the AC. It's really suffocating to sit there. My view never to visit it again.

Accessibilty during evening is a problem due to limited public transport & area is also deal & quite in evening. Have stayed twice & had to change room on both occasions due to AC malfunctioning. Food is amazing but service takes lot of time yet worth waiting.
