Reviews of Malakkarethu House
One of the best stays I’ve had with my entire family, and we truly enjoyed our time there. However, the owner seemed quite particular about the decorative items displayed in the house and appeared frustrated when they were touched. While this is understandable, it would have been kinder to politely request guests not to touch them, or alternatively, not display them in shared spaces.
In terms of service, there is room for improvement—especially regarding room upkeep and amenities. The property also lacks modern or high-tech features, which may be a consideration for some guests.
Overall we loved the place and would recommend it for sure.
We had Very nice stay. The in-house food was all excellent Kerala food. Menu and personal choices too was offered. The rooms were clean all surrounding too was kept clean. The surrounding places are close to few holy temples.

Joji the owner and his caretakers Genga and Jethin made our stay comfortable.
The home is beautiful and has a well kept garden.
Its on the banks of the mighty Pamba and one can can take a dip if fancied.
