Our stay at Hotel Nalanda Guest House was absolutely delightful. The hospitality provided by Manager Mr. Rakesh and staff member was exceptional—they were always available, incredibly helpful, and ensured that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and stress-free. Their dedication truly made a difference.

I recently had one of the worst stays of my life at Nalanda Guest House. The bed was broken and extremely uncomfortable, making it impossible to sleep properly. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell that did not go away despite repeated complaints to the management. Shockingly, no proper solution or assistance was provided. Overall, the experience was terrible, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this place if they are looking for even basic comfort and cleanliness.

Additionally, the location was perfect! The guest house is conveniently close to the market and all the famous landmarks in Nalanda, including the historic ruins of the ancient university. This made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable.

This is the best property if you are planning to visit Nalanda. Just a kilometre away from the railway station and the UNESCO World Heritage site Nalanda ruins.
For visiting g Rajgir this location is best.
I stayed solo but there was no problem. The manager Mr Rakesh Kumar is very helpful. He guided me to the local sites.

Stayed here for 2 days. We were provided the newly developed rooms on 3rd floor. Rooms were good. They have their own resturants and foods were good, but you have to order in advance a bit because they always freshly cook the food. Rakesh ji in reception was very courteous and guided us very well from our booking to check out. All other staffs were also very helpful, Chandan ji also took care of our room service very well.

Enjoyed my stay here, quiet location with nice and comfortable facilities, they build new floors and I stayed at a new room, all was good nice and clean, the staff are very polite and caring, especially the management, the owner of the guest house himself suggested on his own will to give me a ride to Nalanda ruins, was pleasure to have conversation with him and get some knowledge of the area. Mostly recommended!

Loved this hotel during our stay at Nalanda Guest House. Location is superb — just by the side of the wide main road. Everything available nearby.
The staffs are very cordial, well behaved. Rooms are very good and spacious with satisfactory decor and good maintenence. Our room had a fully glass covered roadside balcony which I loved.
All basic amenities like TV, Cupboards, Geyser, King size bed, AC etc are provided.
