A nice property, Hotel Heritage Suites lures you with excellent & warm service and a hygienic ambience. The rooms are very spacious and well-maintained. The food served in the restaurant is par excellence, and the cooks / staff members offer you warm and personalized service.

The food services offered to me by Rocktim Borah was very good. Good Guy with a very decent Behaviour.
The Hotel is located at Baruah Chariali which is a very prime location in Jorhat.
The price of the Hotel rooms are quite high as compared to similar hotels in Guwahati. They even charge extra GST of 12% in Hotel Room Rent and 5% extra GST in Hotel Food, which was quite disappointing for me.
Else everything was Excellent. 👍

The hotel management was extremely unprofessional. No water supply in the rooms in the morning, complementary breakfast not provided, although informed to the hotel management to serve it early, during check in. And during check out there was no one in the reception counter for which the check out was delayed by almost half an hour. Wastage of money in such unprofessional hotel in Jorhat.

Room Service is good enough. But as per the room fare its not upto the mark…
There are lot of spelling mistakes in menu. But the food is good enough. I preferred eating from its kitchen instead of going out…
Every thing in bathroom is jugad. Water heater (Geyser) wasn't working. But they provided us with some buckets of hot water when needed…

Let me point out the positive things first:
(1) The location is perfect, at the heart of the city yet quite and peaceful.
(2) The staffs are honest, I accidentally left my headphone in the hotel. The staffs were kind to contact me when they found out and made arrangements to get it even after I have left the hotel.
(3) The food is good and decent priced and the rooms have good space.
There are certain things which crated some different impressions.
(1) It is a bit overpriced considering it to be an old property with very little maintenance. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are very old. The bathrooms are not cleaned properly and are not in good condition.
(2) The hotel lacks cleanliness, lot of cockroaches were roaming inside the room and the staffs are prompt in giving excuses. When asked to take actions, the reply was, will do it tomorrow (it was not very late in night when told to clean, it was around 9 PM).
(3) The lift does not work.
(4) You wont find anyone at night. I couldn't even contact the reception desk at 7 AM in the morning. There was no one. In fact you wont find anyone before 8 AM.
(5) There is just one plug point in the entire room which is accessible. If you have lot of gadgets or multiple members in one room, you can face serious time issues to charge all your devices.

A decent hotel to stay in with spacious rooms although the washrooms could have been a little better.
Although the staff is less aware about the nearby attractions when asked for but their behaviour is ok.
The room service is really quick and the food served has good flavour and taste which isn't over-oily or over-spicy at all which is a great thing.
The hotel also has a really small complimentary covered car parking which can accommodate about 4-5 cars.
Overall, you can give it a try if you are in a moderate budget of 1500-2000 bucks for 2-3 people at a good location.
