Empire Regency

The empire residency hotel in Guwahati has spacious rooms but very bad ACs. We booked 5 business class rooms but the ACs were not working in any of the rooms. Staff came and fiddled with them, set them at 16°C and then within 1/2 hour it closes off. Hot water is for a very limited time for a limited quantity. The food is of very poor quality, burnt rotis, oily and unappetizing. The dining hall has a step near the serving counter where people keep tripping over. I fell over it and hurt my knees and elbows. Overall a place not worth staying in. Especially when you are billed business class rates.

Dont book this hotel if you want best hotel…
I have never stayed in a filthier hotel. The room was crawling with bugs, and the management didn’t seem to care at all. The bed linens were stained and clearly hadn't been changed from the previous guest. The bathroom was even worse—mold in the corners and a layer of grime over everything. It’s a major health hazard. Save your money and your health; do not book a room here.
The staff here is incredibly unprofessional and rude. We waited over an hour for a basic breakfast that was supposed to be included, only to find the kitchen area looking completely unhygienic. The food quality has significantly degraded, and the reception staff is dismissive when you bring up a problem. They are happy to take your money but offer zero service in return. Never again.

I recently stayed at Hotel Empire Regency and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff was polite and helpful, especially during check-in and room service.

We stayed for 01 night on return trip from Arunachal Pradesh.
Very near to Kamakhya Devi Mandir and Guwahati Station.
Rooms are very well decorated, toilets are clean, have a big smart TV, window with road view.
Have fantastic complimentary breakfast.
We are highly satisfied and recommend all of you to stay here.

Very good hotel with budget friendly price. Hotel staff behaviour, room, location and food is nice.

Smelly and untidy room. Room was smelling witj smoke. Breakfast serve was horrible. It's like they cheated us on breakfast.

We stayed for a night and service was good. They have a food outlet right in front of the hotel and provide good hygienic food. One can also order online or they too have in-house restaurant on the top floor.

Service is good, tasty food. Good hospitality very happy customer.

Excellent Stay and Great Service!
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, Especialy Mr. Atikur and Mr. Gigoi were extremely helpful.

Hotel waa very good and the cultural and welcome of us in tye hotel was truly mesmirizing.

Hotel was nice but we didn't not have enough time to live there because of our train.
