We spent our first day in assam at Tesco Resort. I come straight to the restaurant service over the staying. The food, just mind blowing! Truely. We tried assamese thali in lunch. It was average. But we ordered some chinese for dinner. That has blown our mind. Having a pure chinese cuisine, seating in a assamese restaurant, should be a pleasure for everyone. I just loved it! Rooms are clean, decorated, spacious. There is a big ground in front of the hotel, where you can enjoy your quality time by roaming around with a soft music. If you want, they can arrange jungle safari jeep for kaziranga national park, it costs around 4000-5000 INR per jeep.

It was a fabulous experience in Tesco Resort.! Firstly The rooms need a little bit of maintenance but they were clean.
About service the service was prompt and courteous.
Food was too good and specially the service of food manger Ram he was really kind and respectful to us.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tesco Resort, Golaghat. The service was extremely poor. Neither the reception nor the restaurant staff answered calls despite repeated attempts.
The breakfast timing is mentioned as 7 AM to 10 AM, but even by 7:30 AM, there was no one present at the restaurant to serve or assist. For a resort, this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
Room TV not working, AC remote not working, No toiletries are available in the rooms. Horrible.
Basic hospitality and prompt service are the minimum expectations when staying at a resort, but Tesco Resort failed to deliver on both fronts. I would not recommend this place unless they seriously improve their service standards.

It's a fantastic venue! With plenty of parking available, spacious rooms, and a great banquet hall, it offers everything you need for a perfect event. Plus, the air conditioning is wonderfully efficient, ensuring everyone stays comfortable throughout.

Their biggest problem is basic hygiene like tea mugs with dust, Tore bath towels, unclean bathroom, and rooms that look like a lodge. Due to serious hygiene issues I would not recommend this place for staying with family. Hot water and light is available.

Location is half an hour from kaziranga. Rooms are neat and clean. Food is good in taste. Helpful staff. Overall nice experience.

Fabulous place and service. The rooms can use a little bit of maintenance but, they are very clean and service was very prompt as well as courteous.
It's a good place to stay as it is a little bit cheaper than staying in the Kaziranga area but, near enough to visit it.

Rooms are large, bathrooms are clean and it is peaceful. I never stayed here for leisure but it is a good place for even transit passengers or people out on official travel.

I had lunch while returning from Jorhat to Tezpur. It's a perfect place for one who needs a stop in between the journey. Food at reasonable prices and tastes good.

The food looks great and the quality is also very good but it was bland and didn't taste good.

Had a splendid overnight stay at this place. Very friendly staff and met the owner Mr. Tarun too. Great rooms, great food. (Had a great refreshing bath on my way back from Tawang on a bike trip enroute Gauhati. )

Halted overnight on a long journey. It's just next to the highway. Room was very spacious. Helpful staff. Good food for which I paid and complimentary breakfast was OK but no fruit or fruit juice. Funny thing was they served butter after melting it completely for adding on bread toast. Only major issue was cleanliness of the room I stayed in for which I have given 3 stars. There was a cockroach in the toilet, one bathroom towel was torn and ragged, the blanket (duvet) cover was smelling as though it had not been washed after the room was last vacated.

The restaurant was vacant at the time we entered. A few minutes later, around 8 people arrived and took the table next to ours. These people then started gossiping among themselves. Also, the staff's behaviour and body language were not good.
