Super Collection O Rani Gate Guwahati Formerly Lakhi Guest House

If there could be an option of giving.
Zero star I would love to give that in review. I am a student and me and my friend stayed here in this hotel for one night as we had CUET exam the other day. The following inconvenience they gave us :
1. Firstly I felt a sense of dought of giving me an uncomfortable room when I checked in the reception and he asked me to pay but I told him that my friend had booked it and the payment was done (₹950), the two of them were discussing and was like in a.
State of loss because my friend had booked it from oyo app and got in discounted price. They wanted me to book in offline and they would ask 1500-1700 per room, I could easily sense that according to their behaviour towards me.
2. Actually it was for two adults but when I entered the room I was shocked as it was very small and the bed was too small for two persons, but I thought that as it was for only one night we would manage it.
3. I asked them about Wi-Fi and they told it is there and gave password but it couldn't connect the whole time.
4. The most important thing is.
Cleanliness which I couldn't find in the room especially the bathroom though it was attached but there were grasses lying there, no soap or handwash given no towel nothing.
5. The main game started when me and my friend had dinner and was going to sleep at around 12 or 1 something the current went off.

Worst experience!
Multiple load sheddings, current cutoffs, shitty bathroom, no TV connection, no Wi-Fi, no mirrors, no chairs and the staff is impolite and doesn't listen. Tv is there but they have hidden the remote same with ac. If you are a student never ever book this place.
Even a jail is better than this stupid asylum.

Extremely disappointed bad behaviour not even water and denied us room at 2 am at night with no place to go don’t ever go into this hotel go anywhere not here.

Last Sunday we visit your hotel but after booking confirmed then I gave money your receiptsiontist show your two rooms when I saw your room I can't believe the rooms were very dirty, the beds're not clean so we decided we can't stay in this hotel but your receptionist didn't return our money.

I have never seen such a dirty hotel. The room was nothing like the photos shown online. Hygiene was not maintained, and the bedsheets were dirty. I could not stay there and had to leave, They demanded payment before showing us the hotel room. After we saw the room, it was in very poor condition despite this. This is unacceptable but they didn't refund my money.

Rooms are too dirty, even bedsheets, pillow covers are so dirty. Doesn't match with the pics at all. Pics doesn't look like they are from the property.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. To say the experience was "bad" would be an understatement; it was completely unhygienic.
The main issues were:
Lack of Cleanliness: Every room we saw was very dirty. It was clear that the property is not being properly maintained or cleaned between guests.
Dirty Linens: The bedsheets were not fresh. They were visibly soiled and had a very unpleasant, dirty smell that made it impossible to feel comfortable.
Poor Hygiene: The overall state of the room was unsanitary. We did not feel safe or comfortable staying in such conditions.

Clean Rooms and also staffs are very good and helpful… our two nights stays are good at lakhi guest house… specially the owner manage the every requirement by its own! its a good stay around airport!

Hospitality management is worst. We book 3 room online and when we reach the Hotel. Rooms where not cleaned and bedsheet, pillow were dirty. And the guide who is staying there specially the girl is so rude and want only money. They didn't even refund us, they say like if you don't want you can go. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. Bathroom are very dirty. And the rooms are mostly used for something else by seeing the room you can understand it. We reached hotel around 1:00am mid-night travelling far away and face this kind of situation it's really terrible and we didn't get any refund and they said us to adjust in this dirty room later we have to move back and search another hotel in late night, no hotel management and good service here only money to them. Price and the Quality is not matching.

Nice place to stay if you travel by flight as it is near to the airport road. Pocket friendly.

Arrogant staff, demand extra money for online booked rooms, if you paid online they will offer substandard rooms. There is no one to complain for, customer care no. Also redirected to the person on reception. No complain channel. Not recommended for booking.

Extremely bad behaviour of staff.
1) demanded extra money.
2) when you refused, jao complain kero.
3) when agreed to pay extra shown bad room and demanded extra money for another room.
Beware don’t Book.
A advice.

I stayed several times. It's a good place to stay and room rent is also relevant. A little dirty they need to focus on it. Overall it's a good choice.

Pros:
It's close to the airport (about 3 kms away) — on an almost straight route.
It accepts online booking (no extra payment required on arrival) and the owner is very responsive.
I would have liked it more if the bedding and sheets were cleaned — it didn't look like they were and the room had an odd smell. My check-in was quite late, around 10 PM (maybe they could have changed the sheets if I requested, but I didn't). On the plus side, the geyser worked perfectly. I was surprised they provided no drinking water, the person at reception asked to go outside. The reception is via the stairs on the first floor of the complex.

I had booked an ac room but they provide me non ac room which was very disappointing. There was bad smell in the room and bathroom was also dirty and the water also contains smell of iron. It was a horrible experience in this hotel. Will never in my life will visit this hotel. I was bound to stay there only because of my brother’s exam in the very next day morning.

Value for money, stayed one night, costed approx ₹1000. Totally recommend it.

One of the worst stay I have ever had. Room and washroom were dirty, bedsheets & blankets were dirty, smelly and had stains. Pillow covers were filthy. Washroom had No soap, handwash tissues nothing at all. Everything had dust and the ceilings were full of spider webs. Do not recommend it at all. Also they accept oyo bookings according to their own wish.
