➜ The town is lovely unfortunately once I got home I realized that the facility, after charging me by credit card on site, I had actually already charged the full amount at the time of booking. The result is that I paid twice and despite being days that I try to contact them by sending receipts and requesting a refund I have not yet received reply. So far I would not recommend to stay at this property.
I came here during the winter and honestly this town is beautiful. The people that operate this business are very helpful. The main thing everything is cleaned and worth every dollar. Each bed has a TV and each bed is very comfortable. And very clean.

The Iceland visit hostel in Holmavik is very modern! (was formerly a bank, but it is super renovated or rebuilt) Rooms are modern, super equipped (each bed is 140cm wide and has a smart TV and curtains for pulling and also with lockable lockers and stowage facilities). The kitchen and the common rooms are good. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Attention: Sheets and towels cost 500 ISK pp. All in all a highly recommended accommodation. Gladly again.
