Very small rooms very old kitchen appliances, nice lounge.

The location was amazing. Place was clean the rooms are a little bit small but a great spot to spend a few days and explore the the Western fjords.

Clean rooms with simple interior design. Great place to stay! There is also a free public hotpot near by facing the ocean, less than 10 minutes walk!

The guesthouse is located at the end of a road, down from the village of Drangsnes. It is a complex of a few guesthouses, linked with a middle courtyard, overlooking the Puffin paradise of Grimsey. We stayed in the 11-14 guesthouse, which included a kitchen, lounge with sofa and TV, and a shared bathroom (shower only). The lounge was very large and comfortable, and allowed an evening in listening to the sea waves. The room was very small, but the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and sourced sulfur rich water (we’re guessing from the hot springs below), which seems to have had a toll on the shower cubicle. A trip to the by-the-road hot tubs of Drangsnes is highly recommended! There are three hot tubs, each increasing in temperature. Make sure to take a shower in the little hut opposite, and cross the road to dip yourself into hot tub paradise! Despite the cold and wind outside, the experience was heavenly, and we spent a good half and hour enjoying the views. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Lots of variety and all freshly made. Included cold meats and cheeses, wraps, ham and cheese toasties, fresh fruit and vegetables, brownies, cereals and my favourite — homemade waffles! Overall, a nice place to stay, but I can imagine gets very busy in the summer.

Modern clean rooms at the Malathion guesthouse. This place has one of the only restaurants in town, next closest supermarket or restaurant is in Homivik. There's these out door hot tubs (24h a day) just next to the pier, across from the public WC.

The location was very good We had a small room with a large living room/kitchen to share, it was nice. The best being the 3 public hot baths on the roadside, I was able to observe whales off this site.

Very nice quiet location. Rooms in the newest building spacious and beautiful. Restaurant not particularly cozy but good food. Breakfast very large and varied.

Lovely guesthouse with a well-furnished kitchen. Chances are you'll have the place to yourselves if you stay during the offseason.

The spaces (1-10) are nice and large and fits that bed very well. Wi — Fi recommendation was different from that of a colleague, described below, is not a Problem and the prices for food are Icelandic. It tasted good, though. Who doesn't want to spend to stay at home.

Very clean and functional rooms. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and what's more, maybe you think the tenants are not really smiling, well… maybe it's a smile that doesn't show, but they were extremely warm and friendly people who treated us like kings even though we were shabby, just coming out of a 4day-hike in the Hornstrandir and on a low budget. And they helped us with our reeking laundry… This place will remain in our hearts…

Top. Just what we expected! Restaurant had excellent food, cabins are large with toilet and shower… Grab a bottle of wine and chill by the water… Stunning sun, if your lucky ;)
