Lovely rooms in the new section. Close to glacial experiences. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service was fantastic. Would happily recommend this guest house.

Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. We stayed in the new building which has very large and nice rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located on road 1 and the access is easy.

Everything was clean, bathroom included in the room. Breakfast was good. Didn't have a kitchen for guests like in some other guesthouses. But definitely worth checking out, had a good stay.

New guesthouse in countryside with beautiful mountain and glacier view, with calm and relaxing atmosphere, free coffee and nice helpfull staff included. Best for recharging batteries after long driving.

Cool little guesthouse. Morning breakfast was good. The common room had a coffee machine. Very clean and comfortable bed. This place is a 5/5, only minor issue was the Wi-Fi in the room was hit or miss. I am not complaining because we were not in Iceland to be on Wi-Fi, we just had to turn in some homework online. The restaurant Wi-Fi was perfect though.

Great location. 20 min to the glacier lagoon. Very friendly and helpful receptionist cum waitress. Very clean and minimalist with no TV but plenty of electrical points. Only body cum hair soap, no conditioner. Choice of chicken or fish and potato stew (which was more like mashed potatoes and fish) for dinner at reasonable prices. Love the three lambs Bonnie, Thelma and Louise they adopted.

Great view all around, friendly staff and a great breakfast with selfmafe porridge and fresh fish for example. The rooms are modern and clean. Strangely the tvs arent connected to the power and signal. Not that we cared about that, its just a random info. We would definitly book again if needed. :-D.

Best experience to see aurora! The hotel staff has been very helpful to my husband by getting me a surprise birthday cake. It is indeed very tasty cake. Best birthday gift to enjoy the cake at the hall while waiting for aurora to appear! Thank you so much! Oh, not forgetting they serve very detail buffet breakfast too. I just love this place. ♥️

The place is brand new and I am sure will become very popular very soon. The location has magnificent views; modern, hip look, bathrooms are top notch, coffee machine makes unlimited variety of real gourmet coffees, the staff is the most pleasant and helpful. Separate rave about breakfast — smoked fish was much better than the one we had at Hofn most expensive restaurant, salmon was exquisite, pate with beets was delicious, having fresh fruits including watermelon, melon and pears was great (we know how expensive they are in Iceland! ). I would really recommend adding starters to the delicious soups you already serve for dinner — we would of gladly bought it! Overall, this is a total gem of a hotel!
