Excellent city centre hotel, within walking distance of nearly all major sights. Spacious rooms and a lovely breakfast.

Clean, modern appliances, friendly staff etc… couldn't be happier.

Nothing special. We stayed there just one night in a double room on the second floor (which is actually a first). The hotel itself is just ok, with reasonably sized rooms and clean bathroom, although the shower was a bit minimalistic. The breakfast was somehow unappetizing. I would definitely book here only on a case by case basis, depending on how good the price is compared to other hotels…

Very pleasant stay and friendly staff. Rooms could be better, but very reasonable, though. Breakfast is nothing special. Much noise from nearby streets and cafés, but this is just general for the town centre and not specific for this hotel — on the plus side it is very centrally located. The hotel and its guests are quiet.

Room on the ground floor right right next to the Street, so noisy all day and night as can hear every footstep of every person walking past, cars etc. Needs some sound proofing. Breakfast pretty average aswell.

Hotel is centrally located, good breakfast, room is ok. Everyone is helpful. Thou we are booked for 3 people, only 2 sets of towels, we asked for the third one which never came! Stayed only for one night.

Construction next door was quite loud in our particular room. Made a minor comment of it to front desk associate. Got a phone call about an hour later and they offered us a room at their sister hotel down the street with a free cab ride. That was cool. Thanks.

Clean, extremely griebdly and helpful staff, small rooms but you arwnt staying in the rooms much. Good central location. Good breakfast included.

The service is amazing. Great location. Rooms are small, but you are not in the room very much. There is so much to do! Construction next door, but the staff are incredible. Very much made up for it.

Clean and friendly staff. They helped me with my different excursions. The bus goes to the corner of the street to pick me up and go on a tour. A big plus to the team! (Reservation of excursions, Nice)
A good room in the city center. The Bonus Supermarket is 800 m in the tourist street.
Negative Points:. The shower temperature valve was broken there is no longer the hot/cold indication. Work on the street starts at 8:00, so the drill starts very early! (But it's independent of the hotel so…) The welcome products are minimalist and made in France, I expected to discover the local. Finally you really have to speak English for non English speaking there is no real effort in fact.

Perfectly centered for all of Reykjavik activies. Wi-Fi works well and their breakfast is great… and free!

Old basic hotel. Very basic breakfast. Generally in that price… nothing special. On plus is location. It is just minutes from City center. And this is the only place. They should really refurbish that one… It is calling for this.

Old hotel, very poor breakfast, clean rooms but if you feel a hair dryer running around the hotel don't switch on the kettle you find in the room. Skip the current and you find yourself in the dark indefinitely… that is until you find someone present in reception!

Room is adequate. Staff is FABULOUS! Breakfast is limited, but very tasty, and plentiful. Everything is clean.

A great location and excellent staff. I was a bit sad to see that the only channels available in the room were a couple of Icelandic talk shows, despite being able to see other BBC and continental/USA channels in the list — they just didn't work. Also it room was a bit stuffy with only one openable window and no fan or source if circulation. A good place for the price and private bathroom though.

Expensive for very small room. Bathroom even smaller. Curtains are not good at keeping light out. Look for another hotel!

Conveniently​ located right near the centre of town, a spacious modern room with free Wi-Fi and modest breakfast buffet. I visited Reykjavik while on a tour, so I'm unsure of the per night cost, remeber EVERYTHING is expensive here.

A good hotel with the basics. Friendly staff and close to everything. Breakfast was fine. Staff borrowed us a power adapter for the outlet.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights, two at the beginning of the trip, and two at the end. Both stays were rather pleasant. This hotel was excellent for someone like me who only wanted to be in it to sleep. I explored the town all day and returned only at night. The complimentary breakfast was very pleasant as well, however there was construction down the road a bit which made it a bit difficult to get from our car to the hotel, but no matter it ended up being quite useful! The locks on our suitcases got stuck, but some lovely construction workers held the tiny locks with one hand while the other took a quick cut (a very VERY big scary saw) and cut them off for us. The people are pleasant everywhere you go!

Very good position. Clean tidy, basic but adequate. Breakfast is ok but must say salad is a bit odd in such cold conditions. Better if they could offer something hot like porridge. But there was fruit, ham, cheese and hard boiled eggs and of course salad. There is a few cereals, cake and crackers. No choice of milk alternative all though there is a great health store just down the road.

Met two staff both been helpful and pleasant. All in all so far so good.

6 july 2016: Iceland tour for 14 days. This latest hotel was disappointed! Small room, not quite clean, poor breakfast… but pricey! Several guests complained about their stay : the curtains darken not fully (very old stuff), noise of a jazz cafe, At present there are major works on the street busy with a lot of noise from early in the morning. The hotel is tired and in urgent need of renovation.
