Nice cottages in beautiful nature close to Djúpivogur. Great place to stay on your journey in the East fjords. Will definitely return.

Really nice stay. Clean cabins with all the necessities, excellent duvets and linens for a good night's sleep. Really friendly and responsive communication. Awesome mountain view from our cabin. Great location as a base for exploring the east.
Our dog was also welcome and she had a great time too! :)

Clean and nice cottage situated in beatiful place with restaurant with tasty food. Really great place to spend some time close to nature.

Fantastic location, nice and cozy wooden cabins at a farm. There's also a restaurant in the barn, with good breakfast and local dining options.

Everything was so lovely! The cottages were great and the dog and baby lamb were so sweet and friendly! The owner very kindly abandoned watching football so we could enjoy dinner, as we were the only diners at the time.

Magical place in the middle of the mountains! I would definitely come back! The host is super friendly and even invited us for a cup of coffee and waffles! The cottage was ideal to spend a super rough night (weather was bad, 60 km per hour winds! ) so yeah, next time I’m in Iceland, coming back to this place!

The food is super delicious. We ordered fried cod fish and grilled lamb. Both were excellent. This is the best food we have tasted in Iceland in our last 6 days round country trip. The cook was friendly and good with his service. Highly recommended.

Very nice place and really friendly people. Definitely stay here! We even had a little hiccup with our reservation but they made it right and we were well taken care of. It’s a beautiful stop on your journey through Iceland!

Great location. Perfect stop around the ring road. Take your time in this area as it is so peaceful and beautiful. Could of easily spent a couple days here just exploring the area and hiking directly from the door. Cabin was clean and well organized. Plan to cook a meal and sit on the patio to enjoy the view.

Wonderful accommodations along the Ring Road! On a working farm. Cute, new construction, cottages with mountain views, private waterfall and restaurant on site. Family is lovely and helpful. There is even a farm dog, Tinni, if you want to play fetch!

This was a great place to stay on the east side of Iceland. It was secluded and had a great atmosphere. I cannot wait to come back.

We ended up staying here because we got in an accident on our way to Egalsstir. Honestly, I couldn’t think of a better silver lining. Loved the cabin, restaurant, and this sweet pup. Definitely an unexpected bright spot and my favorite place to stay on our trip around Ring Road.

We stayed for one night. The bathroom was smelly and breakfast too pricey for what it offered. It does have nice mountain views but so do other places. Friendly staff. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Fantastic restaurant in an amazing environment. The hamburger and the cake I had for dessert was amazing, in one word bravo, great service. I highly recommend going to Bragdavellir, you need to go there.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by their incredibly enthusiastic and friendly farm dog, such a delight! The cottage was clean, warm and had everything we needed. This is the perfect location to do some star gazing or watch the northern lights! Hoping to do another Iceland trip in the summer one day and will definitely try to visit again!

Love this spot. Was able to disconnect from the world at this cabin and was greeted by the friendliest dog in the world, Tini. Tini and I played catch for an hour!

We didn’t even stay here, but when we stopped by the owner let us explore his property and see the waterfall. But the best part was without a doubt their dog. SUPER friendly and he even came with us on our hike. I love dogs but even if you don’t you’ll love their dog!

We loved our stay at the cozy cottage Gala. Off the beaten path on the eastern coast of Iceland, this is a great place to spend the night if you’re driving around the ring road. We were so pleased with our stay, and would love to come back!

Amazing and reasonably priced cottages in a beautiful area with lots of nearby activities. Be sure to greet the farm dogs in the morning, they are very friendly and playful. Also has Free Wi-Fi.

Love it! Place by itself with newly furnished wooden home. Totally feel like a Nordic cottage!

Great place with accurate photos, nice waterfalls and really well organized. Perfect for a quick nights stay while driving the ring road.

We stayed in one of those beautiful cottages spontaneously, because we got stuck in the snow on the road next to it. The owner of the cottages pulled us out and we were thankful that we could stay there until next day when the storm is over. The guys were very helpful and the cottage cozy and comfortable — with wonderful view. Because of this experience, our bad insidence turned into a positiv icelandic adventure. Thank you so much!

Drove over 350 miles from Reykjavik and arrive to this beautiful cottage. The building looks sturdy and well constructed. The inside is very cozy, and the surrounding view was amazing! Unfortunately we went there during the rainy season and it rain the whole time, so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to. However, I had a great time there and would most definitely go back if I go back to iceland. Give this place a shot, you will love it!

Beautiful remote little cottages just outside Djúpivogur with amazing views of the valley, friendly and prompt customer service, and very local hiking and animals. Easy to find, easier to get lost in the fantasy you'll be living while staying in the paradise in Eastern Iceland.
