We are Paprika M1 customers! Because the M1 is closed for the momment, I booked the 3-bed room in Paprika Cśarda. There is no difference between M1 and Cśarda, it is just as clean and attention to detail. I do recommend both!

The behaviour of the staff is terrible, not just terribly unhelpful, but outright rude. The location is nice, rooms are ok, kitchen is good, but they really need to work on professionalism. When personal reactions interfere with one's professionalism it's bad for business. Your front desk staff is your business card, and some of them really stain that business card.

Hotel is perfect, last 7 years I always visit Paprika M1 hotel.

Tasty traditional food in a cosy atmosphere with great service.

Was a total disgrace, drinks had too much diloution of water, bread was too salty, not much option to choose from. PORK sausages and meats ONLY. Not really thought about the Vegertarian/Muslims who don't eat it.

I had a booking for last night (07.06.2018), I really appreciate that they agreed to wait for us until 23.00.
I paid and received the access key, I entered the room and I checked if it was cleaned. On the pillow and the sheets, there was hair… I went to the front desk and told what I found. I was assured that the rooms are cleaned every day. I asked the receptionist to come and see, but she refused, smiling and saying that she believes me.
I received another room. This was a bit cleaner, but I still found a few hairs, I was too tired to leave. We slept on our towels.
In every corner of the room were spider webs… The rooms wasn't airy and smelled odd.
This morning, at 7.40 somebody entered the room, I hope there were the cleaning ladies, I didn't get the chance to see who it was, they saw the luggage and exited in a hurry.
Coincidence or not, in the parking lot were more Romanians cars, the TV menu was in Romanian…
Fun fact, are this rooms "cleaned" and prepared for Romanians?!

Came last night at 1:30, door was closed. Ringed the door bell … and after 10 min sleepy girl came out :"Sorry we are fully booked! ". Looked in the parkplace, only 6 cars … how ca it be fully booked?

The wait here is like acceptable but be prepared to wait for a while. The surroundings are very cozy and nice to just chit chat a bit. They do have an outdoor but it’s to hot. Better to sit inside. The food is awesome so it’s worth the wait. All of us liked the place.

If you don't have anything to standard, you can stay here at a price.

Arrogant and impolite staff is working at the place. Some of the worst types of "waiters". The ones you think you have to beg and bow for, if you might have the chance to get your food (you are paying for. )

Good food, good prices. The only listing star is for something personal, that might not hapen to you too : I told the waiter that I want desert as well, he mumbled something like "that we could order later… " … ended up with no desert. Also went there in a group and wanted a separate bill, as I will pay with my card. The waiter said "no, no… cash" making a gesture, showing the entire group. Ended up understanding that paying with card is doable… but only payable as group, and not separate bills. Keep that into consideration. Other that that, 5 STARS!

As usual, at the top! Spacious rooms, excellent food, very good value for money. A warm welcome!

Huge portions and very tasty. There is a nearby hotel, not expensive, if on the way to Vienna, you can stay overnight. Will be cheaper.

Fantastic restaurant with great ambience. We have a great dinner and tried most of the hungarian food in the restaurant.

Good food with reasonable prices. The local specialities are every time the best surprise. Drinks expensive, especially beer.

Surprisingly good food and friendly service. If you have a few forints too much in your pocket, the ideal place to eat again cheaply.

Good food but extremely large portions. It is worth spending half an hour, quick serving, for a great meal from a large variety of hungarian or Austrian/German specialities.

We heard about Paprika from many relatives who was there and we wanted to try ourselves also in our transition through Hungary. As always Hungarian food is delicious and this restaurant is not an exception. They have an excellent menu, a lot of varieties and the personal is kind and maybe a little too polite. Also we arrived when some guys was stolen by some "smugglers". This is a popular Food Stop and this type of people know very well. So, don't bring with you entire wallet ;).

A very good restaurant on the highway between Vienna and Budapest. Very good and typical.

It has good food. I would dine here again if I could. The dessert was delicious and sweet. The only small downside is the gigantic portions. Overall, it was good to dine here.

Staying there and eating every year is the crowning conclusion of our holiday. Rooms are top, only who likes to sleep with an open window needs Oropax, being right on the highway. I look forward to the restaurant every time. Quick and fast operation with a rich menu. Only with the numbers it takes a little longer… but we are not on the run:-) Price performance is almost impossible to beat.

Awesome food and staff. They were busy and we waited a little bit but all worth it and service was friendly.

Unfriendly staff! I asked for a lemonade and they brought a soda with mint. The soda was from the machine but they do not specify in the menu. It's normal to get something wrong from time to time but the girl serving us acted like I am the crazy one to ask for o lemonade that implied natural lemonade juice. Her dramatic attitude wasn't necesary. Too bad because the food was ok.

We stopped for lunch. The food was good but the waiter we had wasn't kind at all. He put our plates at the other side of the table, not in front of us. Not sure if this is an usual behaviour or not.

Hotel is clean, but I booked a room online for one person and I got email that they only have double rooms. When I tried to call and ask in english the receptionist just told that she don't understand and hang up. Eventually I came to hotel since I didn't have other option and although I was alone they charged me a double room like there were two persons. Also when you pay for the room you get breakfast cards and even though I paid for two persons I only got one card.

Good place for transit. Tasty food. Their gulyas is delicious (we also tried the fish soup which was also really good). Decent pricing and decent accommodation. 4th time I try the place. Was not disappointed. But do not expect luxury. It is simple and clean. The restaurant is really good. (Long meal preparation times if crowded).

Super food! The waiters were friendly and obliging. It was impressive that the food looked exactly as shown in the pictures at the entrance. Very cheap in comparison to Germany. Soup, entree (lamb or beef) and desert around € 30 per person (incl. Drinks). The restaurant is worth a visit!

Cheap hotel with a restaurant and free parking. Double room with breakfast is worth 40 euros. The cuisine is excellent, mainly Hungarian, servings are large. Location very convenient. Recommend.

Excellent hotel. A large, new, comfortable. Not expensive (50 € for two persons), very clean, big rooms. Great quality restaurant.

Just rating the restaurant. The price/taste ratio is unheard of in this latitude, don't get scared by the amount of tables (and the looks of it to be honest), we ordered quite a lot of stuff (4 people, 5 dishes) and it was all ready within 20 minutes. The one star down is just for the atmosphere… it looks like a cheap dining place for tourists, however the food is (almost) top notch and I'm not sure if you could eat anywhere near this good for this kind of money. Just try their goose liver filled deer saddle…
