A beautiful hotel, and the room we had was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, spacious and opulent. Staff helpful and friendly and dining areas/reception are stunning. Welcome drink a bonus Just a few reasons to knock off a few stars… It is described as a 4* hotel, I have never been in a 4* hotel that did not provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room and although beautiful the room did need some general maintainance. Breakfast for all the options given was a bit lack lustre, fried eggs runny but cold, bacon? Warmed up ham! Best was the sausage and coffee, and the toaster was SLOW! Overall excellent value for the price we paid so no real Complaints and would recommend and visit again if in the area.

The hotel is gorgeous. For a small price-a beautiful two-room suite with antique furniture. Great Fitness and a small spa. Super.

The hotel has a very nice spa area, which unfortunately seems to be overflowing by a few people. The fitness area is very spacious and equipped with modern equipment. The evening buffet as well as the breakfast are deliciously prepared, although the staff seems to be plagued by personal setbacks. A nice experience at a reasonable price.

I feel at home with you, it's all there, I can only recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is in the center of Sopron, well run, good food, nice spa, indoor pool small and a bit too cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice old building, carpentry direction adapted to the building — could be quite modern, bathroom unfortunately not very clean — exposed sewage pipes and the rusty, very nice Fühdtückssaal, very reasonable price.

We were very pleased. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They all speak very good German. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier for health reasons, and the hotel gave us a credit for the days taken, which is also not a matter of course. We are looking forward to seeing you again.

I wasn't there in the last twelve years but my last weekend didn't fit to my old memories. It was so much better before. I mean it's not really a four star hotel. The staff was really kind but it should get renewed entirely soon, and rid off the smells which was coming from the kitchen. Nice place, good staff, but not a four star level.

Costly. Room tiny. Extra charge to park car. Extra charge for room … like service charge. Somewhat inflexible staff in terms to extend check out time. Prices are different every day.

Very nice hotel staff. Unfortunately the hotel's parking lot was full, so I had to look for a public and paid parking lot.
The room was OK, but there were German-speaking broadcasters.

Beautiful, classic hotel in downtown Sopron, nice helpful staff, clean rooms, hearty breakfast, excellent value for money. I would recommend it to anyone, there is nothing to complain about. Like a king one feels a unique journey (perfect ambience, who looks nostalgic, old time) and the staff super nice courteous and polite. We had a super great time there.

Charing, expensive hotel but worth it if you want to see Sopron (walking distance to more or less everything). Also has a nice relax/spa and roof top view.

80% great condition. 20% under renovation. There is a dentist in the hotel!?. Rooms are spacious. The top floor has a garden like place from where you can enjoy the city panorama. The location is in the centre of the city. Playroom for children are nice as well. Welness part is surprisingly big.

Nice, old hotel, okay food. Bit chaotic interior, feels old and a bit dirty.

Unfortunately, it looks like only after that!
No. 1, we had instead of the room romantic room get antique! It was then also okay and the look the other way.
No. 2 in this room was a door to a different room! It was while locked up, yet we have whispered from 10: 00 because it was unpleasant to us, that we might wake the neighbors or disturbing.
No. 3 the tub was small but also with which we could live!
When I have the plugs after the Baden opened, my friend and I found that the pipes are not tight!
We got so into a giant puddle and wiped the floor.
Unfortunately we had to tear down no. 4 very very early. We were really in the stress and had not much much time fortunately I was able to set that the hair dryer was just decoration. So I had to due to the defective hair-dryer in the cold and snow out (in this hope, the hair dry in the car)
No. 5 that I would like to mention only: we had a room with access to the terrace. 1 — 2 rooms have also used the same terrace and could be easily on the Windows and see the whole room.
Unless you made an entire wall to all the curtains. That's OK too, but there was no window to the open and access to the terrace you could only we on a gateway or to make.
No. 6 the beds looked so great and gemühltichkeit (which is why I b. I forgive the wrong room and have omitted any discussions)
This was unfortunately not the case!

Nice hotel, great atmosphere. We booked a suite with a large whirpool. Staff was nice as was the recently opened new wellness area.
