Hostel just outside the centre. Simple but expedient. Beautiful garden.

A very nice place to stay in Pécs. Prices are affordable. And small detail for francophone clients: one of the people managing the hostel is French.

Have had a great 3nights at here. Like a home and people also very nice!

Great international community, friendly staff.

This place, managed by the owners themselves, will provide you a great experience. Just a quick walk from city center, Ananas Hostel has a relaxing and Bohemian atmosphere. Csabi and Marion have done everything by themselves, and they feel proud of that. They will try to make you feel like being back home, and is the perfect place to get out of the city madness when needed.

Unfortunately I can not agree with the most reviews. It is true, that the staff is very helpful and friendly (that's what the second star is for), but the building, interior and exterior is in a very bad condition. I have to mention it is currently "under construction". It is dangerous walking through the garden because there are old items and trash lying everywhere, and the beds are simple mattresses on a pallet. I wouldn't even touch anything in the kitchen. Everything is very old and not clean. I know that Hostels are not 5* Hotels, but I have seen many better than this. I like the idea of recycling, but for the price we paid for a double room, the quality is definitely too low. Also, what should be mentioned for people with an allergy, that there lives a cat.

What an amazing atmosphere :) For my first time in Pecs, Ananas hostel combine all good advantages : international spot, close to the city center, beautiful and cosy clean rooms. Perfect for take a sunny breakfast with your friends in the patio. Definitely recommended :)

Love those guys and there hostel! Perfect blend of cosiness and fun experience, lots of creativity and lots of great tips to share on a city they love and treat accordingly.

Lovely and funny staff, who can show you good places unknown by tourists. The hostel itself is filled with odds and ends, and give the place a great atmosphere. Ananas is great to meet travellers, to play cheesy tune on vintage music instruments, and to feel a little bit out of time. Definitely worth a stay there.
