Oleander Hostel Hostel

It is a very nice place! very good atmosphere and is in the center of the city. The staf is very attentive and pleasant, they make you feel at home … highly recommended!

This Ostel it's one of the worst I never visit: — beds are 10 cm tall and defenititly uncomfortable — all the space are always dirty — bathroom is even more than dirty, there are yellow spots on the shower. The only positive note it's the staff.

Very good location but that is not enough to make forget the big flaws of this hotel. One bathroom for more than 20 travelers, that's a fair bit. And again, if only the bathroom was clean!
You have all-you-can-eat tea and coffee, whew, because the free breakfast consists of some kind of bread, margarine, jam and corn flakes. Honestly, the quality of the products is very low-end.
The reception? Not very obvious: either there was no one from 9pm to 9am or there was a receptionist until 2am.
Not enough patères or storage space in the rooms.

It is a small but well maintained hostel, cool people and Argentinian owner, so you can speak Spanish if he is in service :)

A perfect hostel. But there is no full time reception, so co-ordination with the hostel can get tricky. But I completely enjoyed my stay here.

Quite central but better, breakfast and facilities are quite decadent, still for a couple of nights not bad at all.

The common areas were filthy and unkempt, especially the bathroom — mold and water damage as far as the eye could reach. It was noisy, barely thinking of sleep. The included breakfast does not deserve the name breakfast. To get to the supposedly very reasonable price even €2 per night to what is not apparent when booking via app!

The last hole, for the price not even to sleep well! More back pain than sleep included! "Kitchen" is very dirty and with the "bathroom" all diseases are included in the price.

It's a cosy place and the host is super nice.

One of the cheapest and best options in Budapest, right in the heart of the town. Met some very friendly people at this place.

Awesome little hostel to stay at with a nice kitchen and friendly staff.

Basically. Not bad. The receptionist girl was really helpful. Location is perfect. Very good. But what was worse is they ask extra 2 Euro as tourist city tax per night which I didn't notice when booking. While actual tourist city tax was only 4 % of price as other hostels do so. The way is like scam. And they have only 1 bathroom for over 20 people. Kitchen is only available at 8-23. Sometimes no any staff stay there. I understand. But they shoud tell beforehand.

Tax scam, overpriced, real value no more than 1200. Basicaly a 3 piece appartment turned into hostel.

Staff is very helpful pointing on a free map all the best spots for sightseeing and night life. Small, clean and cozy hostel. Beds are comfortable. Totally recommended.
