I went to the lounge for the first time. I asked the bartender to choose my drinks for me and it turned out an excellent choice every single time. Thank you Patrick!

My wife and I booked the Buddha-Bar Hotel for our first wedding anniversary trip to. Budapest. We chose it based on a friend's recommendation, and will be passing on the recommendation to others. A beautiful building, superbly-located in the heart of the city near to the Elizabeth Bridge and across the river from Castle Hill, the Buddha-Bar Hotel was extremely easy to get to via the E100 bus from the airport, which is much, much cheaper than cab or private transfer. We were checked in by Fanni, who was lovely. Her English was superb and she kindly gave us a simple map of the city and pointed out all the points of interest. Our room was fantastic; a large, executive double on the second floor with a small balcony. There was a little welcome gift of fruit and some chocolate, with a note acknowledging our anniversary. The bathroom was massive with a huge square bath, big enough for me to lay down in diagonally. The electric, heated toilet seat, together with remote control to operate a jet wash function, was something we'd never experienced before! The bed was comfortable, and the provision of a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods and White Company toiletries were nice touches. The staff were all extremely helpful. Tamas helped us with booking tickets for a local thermal bath and expertly provided directions for how to get there on public transport, and Eszti also deserves special mention for her humour and level of service.

Very Nice friendly Hotel spotless with rooms equipped above for every expectation. Bathroom with equipment never tried before. Great Breakfast.

Very nice hotel with a superb location. The rooms are clean and cosy, the decor is spot on and the overall Asian theme spreads through the hotel. The breakfast selection is adequate and the food is delicious. The restaurant prices are in line with the overall venue pricing. If I had to complain about something, it would be the opening hours of the spa. 1 PM to 9 PM is a bit limiting it you want to use the steam room or the plunge pool in the early morning after a workout or before a long day.

Amazing hotel, awesome service and 2 great restaurants. Had a room with balcony and bathtub. Coffee machine and a phone on every room for use outside the hotel with tips, great concept. Didn’t had the breakfast (pp 25€) but the restaurants were both awesome. Very good spot for sightseeing and shopping.

Huge dissapointment. Long check in. There was no queue, but receptionist had more fun to answering phone calls in the front of me. More over, when you paying 170 EUR per night, don't expect breakfast. You have to pay additional 25 EUR. And remember to pay 50 EUR deposit!

I have already been in several beautiful establishments as usual but icy reception no reception we place or we want and we expect friendly personal pity but not at the height of the establishment.

Not good drink, artificial, desaster, we ordered Mai Tai, there was worst Mai Tai in my life… the interior style little bit european… sorry, I expected more…

A superb hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Budapest. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are perfectly equipped, linen and products available. Breakfast (initially not given €25 per person) is just delicious. Everything is fresh, with a huge choice, it is really worth it. This hotel is perfect we will return. Very good value for money.

In this hotel you dive into a different world… The rooms are decorated in red and black, it smells very good throughout the house and you feel very comfortable. Everything is very nice and accommodating, everything is very clean… our stay was very relaxed and pleasant…

What a place! Wow! Smack on Back Utsa, wonderful set up, plenty of unseen ideas_loudslpeakers on the ceiling for a fantastic sound In the room or a hi tech toilet who will require a PhD to flush. Smack near the entrance two fantastic Hungarian restaurants With live Gypsy music and around the corner a really good cake shop for locals. It holds the ground against Gerbau Without a blink. THE place in Budapest. .

Bathrooms were leaking water from shower. Rooms are near/clean but too small. Food is excellent. Did not like the lights within the rooms along with the red and black colour combination of walls and curtains. Too full for my Tate.

The hotel has a great location near the city center. It was a great experience overall. The only comment I have is regarding the shower as the water sprayed on the bathroom floor a lot.

Dined at Buddha bar hungary — the food was very nice and filling! Amazing service as well and the decor is lovely. Only negative was a long wait between food — was getting hungry.

Hotel Staff is very cooperative. I had booked this hotel through makemytrip. My grandmother got hospitalised so I have cancelled the trip and informed them. After checking the genuineness of my medical documents they have cancelled my booking and gave the refund. Thanking you so much to the team of hotel.

Cockroach in the room. The manager was not solving it, she said to get free parking — LOL Horrible service, they have the same crazy restaurant, average food, service horrible and inside the restaurant was like in the fridge. Don't waste money and time with this hotel and restaurant, which is just a joke.

Definitely my landmark hotel in Budapest, all a 5 star real, luxurious rooms, an ideal abaño with very particular toilet with remote control included. Very good restaurant and bar with relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a drink.

Really chill hotel in the center of town. Upscale amenities with a spa. The restaurant was great. Staff super friendly. Double dragon on the bed seals the deal.

Friendly staff. The room was great, with a surround music system, spotlights and nice bathroom, I think we got upgraded from superior to executive room due to they couldn't offer two single beds for us. Close to shopping, Donau river, bars and restaurants. The gym and pool area were unexpected small. Smallest hotel pool I've ever been to, space for only 2-3 people. The hotel design was fabolous. Tasty cocktails at the bar. Didn't try the restaurant.

Pretty solid Asian fusion place — selected on the strength of its vegetarian options (which were all quite tasty! ). Meat options were pretty good too. Lovely aesthetic, friendly staff, and great ambiance.

You must like this design of hotels, but if you do it, the Buddha-Bar Hotel in Budapest worth a visit. A little dark, but stylish and very well located. A bit of luxury and good Service. Recommendation!

The Hotel itself I can say nothing, since we have only visited the Restaurant: The food has excellent taste and was prepared very lovingly. The service was professional and friendly. Certainly not cheap, but given the very good quality of food, reasonably priced. Top!

Only visited the restaurant and it was very nice. The service was really good, very friendly and helpful staff, and the food was delicious. By staff recommendation we shared the mixed grill which worked out well for 2 adults and 2 young kids.

Great hotel. The bed is so comfortable that I prefer sleeping in the hotel than being asleep in my own bed in my house. The food is brilliant, the restaurant is brilliant and the service is splendid! It's my favourite hotel I've ever been to (even better than the Movenpick in Marbella). What's better than having brilliant service, a brilliant room and great food. (And also, I've heard that their sushi is amazing)

The hotel over is amazing. Love the rooms, food, lounge, staff and service. Location is also great! Things I didn't enjoy was the room sound proof and a kind of small beetles in the bathrooms and elevators. The balconies full of bugs and spider webs. The fridge design does not help to keep beverages cold enough.
