There is no free bottled water in the room. I woke up at 4 o'clock in the middle of the night and searched the whole room. There was no bottled water. I had to go to the lobby to buy water.

Good hotel. Great location. Rooms are very spacious, showers are good. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel built in 1956 … it's so huge and we had from our room mesmerizing view of the Danube river … awesome… and the hotel staff too good very helpful and humble… looked after us v well and the breakfast s we're huge layout and taking care for everyone s taste… also the lounge for elite members is too good… whole day one can go and get something to munch and try the varieties of wine, champagne.

Some how I got a good deal because a week later the price when up. The breakfast is great (Adam was very helpful and friendly) and the people at front desk very helpful specially Cata, she is awesome going beyond to help you.

Large room, big size bed, big shower, my room had a very nice view over Blaha Lujza square. The breakfast had lots of varieties from basics like eggs, cheese and bread to fruits everything taste good. Everyone from the staff is welcoming with a smile. Loved my stay and will do if I came to Hungary again.

The hotel is nice. At breakfast there were few vegetables, though it was the season.

Great place to stay in Budapest, especially if you’re on a business trip and attending conferences in this hotel. Great location, only 1 min from the metro station and 5 mins from both the city center and the railway station. The rooms are big and very clean. The food is very good, tasty and wide choice. Definitely recommending this hotel both for private and business travel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2015. The hotel is nice, clean and has ample sized rooms. It is also located in the nice area. I found two issues that I'd like to share with other readers. ONE, the rooms at the backside of the hotel open to a nightclub which blasts music on full volume. You can hear it in your room all night and it is not easy to sleep. So ask for the front side (tram side) rooms, may be there will be some noise isolation. TWO: The hotel charges for Wi-Fi, it is not free. It is very strange in this day and age but it's true.

The Marriott is very well positioned, with an impressive view of the city center right out of the bedroom panoramic windows. We held a conference and the facility was very well prepared for a high level hospitality. It's easy to get in and out, convenient to get around, good facility and good food. I strongly recommend.

The hotel room is very big and clean and comfortable to live in. The famous New York café will arrive within 5 minutes of walking, close to the red lines and Green Line MRT, there are many buses can take, is a very good place, but only one night, if the opportunity to come again will choose this hotel.

I had a corner room and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room was well kept and the entire facility was very nice. It's in a great location of the city. It's near public transportation and a few stores so you will always have what you need nearby. The food in the lobby restaurant was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable beds and pillows. However the room was way too warm, almost like the air-conditioning was permanently set to heating. Just a minor inconvenience. Good food at the hotel downstairs. Self parking available in the parking garage below for approximately 4500 ft per day.

Very nice relatively new hotel. Rooms are modern and enough spacious. Garage is available and not so expensive. It's walking distance from city landmarks. Service is on the standard level for Marriott hotels. My recommendation.

Location  The Courtyard by Marriott Budapest City Center is located on Jozsef Korut, a large avenue running from north to south across the Pest section of the city, one block from Blaha Lujza Ter a large station in line 2 (red) of the city metro. The Courtyard is located in a new modern building sitting of a large intersection, adjacent to a small shopping centre. The shopping centre features an H&M store, a Vodafone store, a sushi restaurant, a Subway a coffee shop and a vertical good health store. The location is perfect and while located in a busy part of the city it is very accessible. The overall area is not pretty or picturesque and Blaha Lujza metro station is riddled with groups of homeless people. With that said it is what you expect from being in the centre of the city and even in the late hours of the night I felt safe. I would recommend buying the Budapest Card it is food value as it gives free access to local transport, discounts on museums and a free entry to Lukacs Baths which is one of many thermal baths spas in the city.   Service Upon arrival and check-in the service was superb. Friendly, informative and proactive. The staff in the restaurant was equally friendly and helpful. While the staff can seem slightly stern, it is less about their warmness and more about the general culture.   Room Given my Starwood membership status I was fortunate to get upgraded to a higher grade room which was done by the staff without me asking.

The rooms are very large for European standard. There is a small pizza/ Italian style food restaurant downstairs, as well as a bar and a tiny market. The hotel offers a small fitness center and sauna as well. Its very nice and clean, very well located! Kind staff as well.

Pretty nice first impression. Staff was friendly and professional. Room is nicely appointed. Bathroom has a rainfall style shower head. Good-sized closet, desk area for work, a small comfy chair, and a TV with many English speaking channels (as well as others from around Europe). I walked around the area, in order to find food, and there were over a dozen cafe/pub/bars within a short walk. Additionally, McDonald's, Burger King and Subway are available for non-traditional fair.

Nice place, clean and comfi. Almost everyone speaks english. Decent breskfast and internet Wi-Fii.

Stayed in a center courtyard suite on the 5th floor. Very quiet and Wi-Fi (decent speed) was included with the rate. Breakfast is a good deal if you are a person who likes a big breakfast. Yogurt, fruit, pastry, all kinds of eggs, meats, cheeses, bacon, sausage and cold cereal. Coffee isn’t the greatest. There is an Illy coffee shop next door that opens at 9am and a Spar grocery store beyond that for those who would like to eat in. Overall, good hotel for location and price.

Linen not changed for 5 days, the room was dusty no one wiped the dust for 5 days. Reported to manager on reception, he did not care about it. Anyway it is close to subway. The room is spacios and shower is modern.

Very courteous staff, comfortable clean rooms and great food at the restaurant. The front desk staff are great and happy to arrange taxis etc.

Noisy, night club close by, thin walls between the rooms. Not the place if you need at least some calmness in order to sleep.

The hotel lays not too far from the city center and has different types of public transport right on the corner. The reception hall has a nice look too it and can be use too relax and take a drink. The rooms have everything what you would expect from a Marriott hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and everything was perfect and elegant. The rooms are big and the king-size beds as well. It even offers a spa working 24 hours.

Good quality accommodation and decent pricing. Service could be a bit better, but overall worth staying here.

Awful hotel. Will never stay here again, nor any other Marriot. Upon arrival you are greeted without a smile and notified that Wi-Fi is extra cost. When entering the room you will find it dull and soul sapping. Orange couch, no pictures or home comforts, and the most dreadful carpet ever. You then discover when turning on the television, as there is bugger all else to do, that this too is extra. Yes, even for normal TV. Stayed the week, room was not made up twice and I subsequently had to ask for more shower gel from reception. Pillows are like sandbags and 3 hours sleep per night is all you should expect to get if staying here. Avoid like the plague, trust me on this.

A comfortable hotel with huge rooms and beds to match. It's pretty basic but a good base for exploring the city. Staff are friendly and make good suggestions for restaurants etc and the breakfast is great.
