Well placed location in Budapest. 5 min walk to Metro and Tram. Very friendly staff specially ANNET. In Restaurants staff takes very good care of u. One of the Majestic Night view of Parliament from some rooms. Worth living and enjoying.

Good location for public transport, located in front of the parliament building,, I recommend eating out you spend less.

Welcome dietary requirements! One of the most worrying bits of going to Budapest was that I am vegan and this hotel was a dream. Tofu, soya milk and an a massive range of vegan food for breakfast and gluten free bits too. After a full tummy I was ready for my day. The staff helped with transport, events and advice. Beds were just right. Some of your cute mugs in the rooms would have been a bonus, but takeaway cups were provided so you could take a warm drink with you. Our view from the room was absolutely amazing and it was a treat to see the basilica when I woke up and at night time all lit up.

Very helpful Hotel.

I feel saddened to give such a pitifully low rating, but I'm left with no other choice. I also feel that even a 1 star is a bit much for my experience, but the rating doesn't go any lower. I stayed at Novotel for just one night, and I had great expectations. However, I was completely disappointed from the get go. There were a couple of positives though, and I'd like to talk about those before I move on to the problems. 1. Excellent location. You can pretty much walk to almost all the main attractions in Budapest. 2. The staff was friendly. 3. Breakfast had decent options. Now the problems. 1. The room was not maintained well. The carpet had stains. 2. One of the lamps had a broken bulb. 3. The comforter provided with the extra bed had dust and other people's hairs stuck on it. 4. The AC was making grinding noises, and didn't even cool the room. 5. The cupboard was honestly too small for anything. 6. The TV could use an update. 7. The bathroom mirror light had a cracked protective plastic shell. 8. The sink didn't drain very well. 9. The shower kept sliding down since the locking mechanism was broken. 10. The same state of disarray was observable in the corridors on my floor. The room servicing trolleys with all the used linen and towels was stored in the open, and a crib was just stowed away next to my door. And this remained the state of things from my check-in until my check-out. 11.

Excellent location with views of the Danube and the Parliament. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Very close to the City Center on foot. Excellent breakfast.

Nice hotel, reasonably sized room and comfortable. The location is great as stepping outside and walking along the river will get you great views especially the parliament house on the other side of the river. So great location and comfortable hotel.

Hotel ideally located on the edge of the Danube, in front of the Parliament, close to two bridges allowing to reach the other part of the city on foot or by tram. Spacious and comfortable room. Excellent bedding. We chose a river view room: simply beautiful, especially at night. Almost a shame to pull the curtains to sleep. The staff is nice. Not tested French, but no difficulty in English.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Best Location. Most of the things are near by so one can walk to those places number of times. Excellent breakfast with wide range. Good information provided at Desk. Very friendly Staff. Rooms very clean. An excellent view of Parliament from Hotel.

Very convenient location to visit the city. Very clean and nice environment. With a very good value for money. Mezzidi transposed comfortable two minutes walk from the hotel Budapest city that deserves to be visited we stayed 4 days and in the evening is spectacular.

What a great location, right on the banks of Danube River, facing the parliament building. The rooms were big and comfortable. The breakfast was standard with a decent spread. The staff were very friendly. Most of the tourist attractions were at walkable distance. So was the metro. The check in and out process was smooth as ever.

Everything is very good. The staff is very friendly. The only thing that was not in the room slippers and bathrobe.

A nice hotel with spacios rooms. A minus for our room was the TV which is too small for the room. The gym has the minimum echipments and outdated and need some repairs. The staff on the breakfast are they are moving very fast even the serving area were small pots.

The services are good and breakfast has nice variety. Unfortunately however, the standard is not 4* and seems more appropriate for a 3 star budget hotel lime Ibis. Rooms are small and many have a view to the parking lot. The furniture is very basic and the old, small TV does not really do the trick. Only basic items I the bathroom, the rest (which should be the norm in a 4 star hotel) like slippers, vanity set, sewing kit, lotion or conditioner, you would need to ask for at the reception. Hand lotion and slippers were provided upon request, not sure if the rest are available. There is no bathrobe in the room and no complimentary water bottles. Overall, the stay was bit disappointing for what you would expect at the Novotel.

A well located hotel, on the Buda ('cause it's, Buda and Pest) side of Budapest City! Seems to me, one of the sides of the building, has a lush view at the Hungarian Parliament, located across the Danube river! I say "seems to me", because I haven't been a guest, or inside at all! There's a website, find it, browse it and "knock yourself out" folks! Enjoy!

Very nice Staff, quiet and quiet place but mostly clean! Perfect with a varied breakfast and very good.
And with a view in front of the beautiful Parliament.

Great view on parliament building (not all rooms and the price is higher if you would like to woke up with this view). I was in room that would be nice to refresh in terms of the floor or TV. Just to be fair it was very clean! But you could get easy that feeling that last renovation was done many years ago. In restaurant food was quite good. I recommend traditional Goulash. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is very good place for a business meeting or conference.

Staff very friendly in the deal, but too slow to attend the tables at dinners. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

Great hotel, nice staff, good location.

The hotel is very nice, has a great view of Parliament and is very clean. The staff were very helpful Plus machine Clean shoes in the hallways. The only flaws were that the square pillows were not very comfortable, the towels were a little small and by taking a shower it bathed a lot in the bathroom as the shower is not completely closed and the dish not high enough to contain the sketches.

Very good view, excellent staff and atmosphere. Health and fitness facilities are limited, but breakfast was included with a great variety. Good parking facility. Restaurant and the hotel costs are on the expensive side as you can expect being right opposite to the Parliament. Highly Recommended.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights at a very affordable price. The location is very impressive, along the river and in front of the parliament but above all very convenient to move using the subway. The room was clean and very large, the service very efficient and the breakfast always great.

Really nice Hotel. The room is very large and the bed is very comfortable. They are very attentive to detail. In the bathroom are present in addition to shampoo and body shower also the balm and creams for the body. Very large shower with glass wall. The toilet is in the closet next to the bathroom. Wi-Fi very good. Ability to listen to the music of your mobile phone via the TV via the Aux cable. Also recommended for value for money. The breakfast buffet is really a pleasant surprise. Very friendly Staff.

Stayed there 2 nights for Business. The view of the Parliament across the Danube river is stunning. The rooms are clean and accommodating. Prices are reasonable and the staff very welcoming. Overall, wonderful stay.

In love with everything in that hotel especially the staff and how they made their best to make our cavation a blast… Would definitely go there again.

It's nice, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast buffet is good there is a lot of stuff, obviously missing the bidet.

Located on the Danube Bank (Buda side), right in front of the monumental Hungarian Parliament (located on the side of Pest), offers a very suggestive view during the day, but especially at night, thanks to the magnificent illumination of the Parliament and the Bridges that join the two sides of the Danube. The hotel enjoys a great location, allowing you to reach both on foot and by public transport throughout the city. The rooms are elegant, spotless, spacious and quiet, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and of quality, continental type; Also the restaurant is very good. There are also conference rooms with breathtaking views. The service is great, the staff friendly and efficient.

Well placed with a nice view of the Danube.

Nice hotel situated on the Buda side of the city right by the Danube with an excellent view of the Parliament Building across the river. The family room is spacious but the bathroom is disproportionately small. The toilet is in a separate room. The staff are very friendly, efficient and professional especially those in the restaurant. There is outside parking available in front of the hotel @ €2/hour or €15/night. There are public transport options within 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. If you prefer to walk to the city's attractions, most of them an be reached within 45 minutes. The breakfast is nice with hot and cold options; noodles and cold fish were available that I have not seen in other Novotel hotels in Europe. A couple of areas where the hotel can improve on are the decor (tired) and cleanliness. However, those things were not too significant and would not deter from staying here again.

A nice place to stay, in the morning breakfast is in front of the Parliament of Budapest. Very good.

My family and I enjoyed 3 nights of blissful stay in July 2017. The service is very good and the staff are wonderful. The food in the restaurant though limited in options was great. The online voucher for meals is value for money. The breakfast is also very good. In the restaurant Ms Hinga provided a top class service as did all the other staff. The Hotel is close to the train station and the Budapest castle is walking distance. From the restaurant overlooking the Danube you have a great view of the Majestic Parliament building which is directly opposite the hotel across the river. Great place to stay with good staff.

Nice view but location was off, a 10 minute walk to the metro, tramp and bus. Hotel rooms are average but the carpet looks dirty, maybe because of the color. There's no iron in the room, it is only available on the 7th floor (make sure to take your room key to use it. ) The breakfast was decent but the service was amazing. The AC was also really nice. Bathroom is small, only one person can use it at a time but it was clean. There was free Internet but very slow connection.

Very good location in front of the Danube and close to the Metro. A human-sized hotel. Welcome home. Business or private stay. Good value for money.

I've been to 4 different hotels in the past couple days. I can't say this is the best because it has its flaws. First of all the rooms are new, but old, if you sort of understand what I mean. The Wi-Fi is free which is great, but it's terribly slow. I mean, c'mon, it's 2016. Also, if you're not from Europe, good luck charging your phone. There's one 115v American outlet in the bathroom but the rest are European ones. I'm not complaining about that, I am in Europe after all. At the other hotels I've been to, adapters were free of charge as long as we return them before we leave. Here, one adapter costs 10€. Yes, even though you are staying here, they still make you BUY an adapter if you need one.

Great location, right on the banks of Danube and amazing view of the parliament! And of course, a standard large Novotel breakfast spread as usual :-)

My review concerns the conference facility only — which is not good. A tight space, bad organization and embarrassing technical problems. Bathrooms: fancyness over practicality and hygiene. It might be good hotel though (haven't tried).

Hotel is very nice, the restaurant is very Good. Also the bar is serving nice. The only bad reputation is the people at the Reception. They aree too rude and it is even a torture to ask for an taxi. Or After 12 if you go the bar they shout you as "bar is closed" there is even no sir in the sentence. I visited the hotel with 10 guests having 10 rooms. They All complain about the Reception people. So as a result Great facility, nice and kind waiters and a awful Reception Team. (especially the gentlemans). Thats why there is one star missing.

Very daring and perhaps dated decor, but modern, spacious rooms with excellent views across the Danube and the Parliament building.

Location and view are really nice, however in the level of services this hotel is not a 4 star one. (no swimming pool, tiny gym, small bar).

Fantastic breakfast with huge selection. Staff was equally fantastic, spoke perfect English, very helpful. Room was beautiful with view of Parliament across Danube, unbelievable. Location was great, train station five minutes away. Really great hotel, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Budapest.

Price and performance are Top. Except the prices in the Restaurant. Why is it so expensive.
