This hotel looks very nice at the first… but, inside, it is dirty, really dirty, the walls, in the corners. At the restaurant I cant tell you what kind of glasses I saw… I showed them and that s it, nothing else as nothing happened! Breakfast was poor, with cheap food but it is near to the centre of the town! I cant recomand to the others this hotel!

Very friendly place to stay with an excellent bar and food. We didn't have a chance to try out the wines party of the hotel, still the room was spacious and cosy.

The atmosphere here makes you feel nostalgic. E great hotel. Vintage furniture and paintings, wood everywhere. Bathroom floor is heated. I definitely recommend spending a night here.

Location Great location, in the city center, with everything close by, in walking distance (aquaticum, zoo, restaurants etc. ) Parking lot to the left of the hotel entrance. Room Room decorations, just like the general hotel theme is, renaissance like, lots of wood and gold yellow. We stayed at a superior room type with slanted windows, which was nice but felt semi-superior, more like just a normal room. Comfy, big bed, no noise bleeding through the walls, welcome quiet throughout out stay. Heating was cranked up a bit too high (27 celsius) and we were unable to turn it down (even a notch) with the control panel resetting back constantly, eventually asking for a hotel repairman. Seemed to be a recurring issue. Lighting was also very dim, a couple spot lights in the ceiling, more emphasis on desk lamps. Scarce power sockets, no water heater, tea, or properly working wardrobe hinges. Service / Food Good service, nothing special. Same for food, it's okay, but you might consider checking out some options nearby. We went for the indian restaurant just 200m across the road, great choice (if you're into it, with no allergies). Facilities Wellness and gym upstairs on floor 4. Both are relatively small, but there is sauna and a very nice view of the city. Parking Great parking, nice layout, part of the accomodation. Summary Personally I think having 4 stars is a bit outdated and the much needed, constant hotel improvement stopped or slowed down somewhere along the way.

The menu is worth exactly 1400 Ft.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are sufficient, not too expensive. Centrally located with access to facilities. Staff are not very efficient, though.

Good location close to downtown, spacious and comfortable rooms, good food offer, patient and professional staff.

We were not accommodated here, just visited the "John Bull" restaurant. The dishes were rather average, the service was unprofessional. They did not take care of our questions on allergic contents. They could not offer the right wine or drink for the food. Otherwise the garden is nice, the interior of the building mirrors the taste of the owner: grandiose. You may try it once, just do not come with high expectations, then you won't be disappointed.

The rooms and the whole hotel a single filthy * * *. Had booked for five days but have not spent a single night in this hotel room. The beds had urine stains, hair, grease stains on the window, dirt and dust everywhere. In the bathroom Kotflecken on the toilet, hair everywhere and it stinks throughout the room. This hotel is a nightmare and would have to have minus stars. The reception also cares about nothing. Then we had a quarter in the Centrum hotel. Clean wonderful room all top. Absolutely recommended. Obester just disgusting. Yes do not book!

If I could have rated it without star, I would have definitely done it At the moment we are here. They informed us that in couple of minutes they would bring us bathrobes then a waitress came and said they do not have it. We started off the wellness part, then we noticed in jacuzzi there is no water running, suana is not working, called the reception and informed him, he is responding that jackuzzi has not been working for a while. This is while they did not let us know it when we reserved the room and checked in. Even the room is a top floor type and this is while we didn't know we'll get this even there was no option to choose between types of room. At our arrival we noticed this and informed the reception we got the answer that they cannot help us. Curtains in the room don't work and it's like we are locked in the darkness. Overall a disaster weekend. Hungarian translation will be posted soon.

Funky hotel, more traditional decoration. Not so good breakfest.

I quite liked the room, was wide, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious.
I liked having a blind, it is not normal and it was electric.
The breakfast was decent, but not had much variety.
I liked the glasses.
The big drawback? I had a room on the first floor and Friday music till late and Saturday there was a wedding, so music until late also… had changed the hotel just for this, because I had to get up early on Saturday and Sunday and I could not do it. I do not recommend it for weekend if your intention is to rest.

Very nice hotel, rooms are big, good entertaiment, nice stuff.
