Sea Eye is definitely the best hotel in Utila. The general manager VANESSA is a SUPER KIND and polite person, as well as the others members of the staff are very good too. In other words, you will have the best customer service. Also, the site where the hotel is located is an extremely beautiful place. You will feel yourself in paradise.
Amazing hotel with a helpful, super friendly staff. Vanessa was amazing! They have 3 different properties located with in a few hundred yards of each other. Some of the units looked like apartments for longer-term renters. We were fortunate to get a 3-person room, 2 doubles and a single at their Laguna section. My only complaint is that their internet service is very spotty at best. I couldn't get any service even in the middle of the night.
We chose the plan with a free breakfast which was served in their private beach, Bando Beach which was a short walk away. Domingo our server, was wonderful; he had a pleasant demeanor and his service was impeccable. The area was great for kids because the water is gradual and the beach has lots of shade and comfortable Adirondack chairs & benches. If you stay for lunch, the restaurant had, according to one of the kids, “the best chicken fingers ever! ” Their smoothies were delicious, especially in the middle of a hot day. Prices were more in line to a private club (a bit on the high side) and they add a 10% service charge even when you're eating in the bar.
We went for a family wedding held at Bando Beach. Gorgeous. The site was perfect! I can highly recommend Sea Eye hotel.

Customer service 5 star. Rooms and apartments are comfortable and clean, have small refrigerators and are quite reasonably priced. Great views, beautiful private beach, good food. I will stay here again.
