Hidden gem on the island.

The Caribe Tesoro was an excellent place to stay in Roatan! The rooms were nice, the location on West Bay beach was perfect and the staff was always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed.

My daughter and I have been here only a few days now and the service has been exceptional! Last night we had some drinks and listened to live music in the restaurant.

We had a great stay at Clarion. The room we stayed in was huge. It had a full kitchen, living room, dining tables, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony that led to the pool.

Stayed in the very basic room — nothing special but very clean. Check in was a visit from the owner and a helpful employee who carried all of our bags.

Beautiful beach, decent service. The shops were typical tourist spots. Prices were reasonable but not cheap.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in a private room — which actually had its own kitchen — quiet comfy and chose to have AC at extra $10.

The go to place for Backpackers to stay in Roatan! Mel has clearly put a lot of love into the Hostel and a great place to meet people and live a more authentic Roatan Experience.

We came on a tour with Norwegian Cruise-line. This was the last stop of the trip. We were treated to a local traditional dance and a sample of their bread and candy.

The location is convenient as it's close to the airport & ferry.
If you're wanting to explore the island, it's about a $50 cab ride to West Bay.
A beautiful pool & loungers are available for your use.

An absolutely amazing property. It’s tucked behind the restaurant. Booked the top most floor which has nice views of the seas. The rooms are very spacious with all the needed amenities.

The rooms were very spacious but it is an older hotel with older fixtures and wear. The rooms were very clean and comfortable though! The overall experience was wonderful.

We came for an excursion from Harmony of the seas Royal Caribbean cruise and this place was amazing. Excellent service and Jeremiah took us snorkeling out to the reef. Amazing!

Amazing adventure with Israel and crew at Blue Roatan. Came in on the Margaritaville cruise and did the beginner scuba adventure.

We stayed at Acqua di Mare Resort in Roatán from December 18–31, 2025, in Unit 441, a two-bedroom unit that was nicely furnished and very comfortable.

This place is the hidden gem you've been looking for. Perfect for rest and relaxation, as well as amazing dive/snorkel sites. It gives the vibes of a beachside dive bar in all the right ways.

I've been to the Reef House three times now and each time it is exactly what I need: a total reset for the mind and body.

I have stayed here many times. Love the location walking distance to everything, near my favorite dive shop, Native Sons, a grocery store, Sundowners, etc.

This is an amazing hotel. I have been coming here for 14 years, staff have remained quite the same. This says to me the management-is very professional, and the staff are well looked after.

Seaside Inn was such a pleasant stay from beginning to end. We were greeted by Jean-Noel who is extremely welcoming. He made sure we had all we needed.

I feel lucky to have found the Seaside Inn. I just spent a week there while scuba diving on Roatán and it was amazing!

Everything is in a walking distance great location, local food infront of the hotel is delicious.

Basic, but absolutely perfect hotel! Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Right next to a gas station that has everything from snacks to meals. Highly recommend.

TLDR —
Pros: location, food, atmosphere.
Cons: Wi-Fi, cleanliness, customer service.

We stayed at Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort from May 4–6 and had a great experience.

What makes the charm of the place is definitively Serkan, the owner. He is a very kind man that as lots of stories to tell and he will often cook for the guests.

A humble abode in a great location! I stayed in a private room which was one of the cheapest options for this area. The AC worked great, the host provided me with towels, and I felt safe.

Like another reviewer said, they need hooks in the room! I had no where to hang up my towel, so good thing there was a spare bed.
Rooms are big, beds are ok, pillows are super flat.

This was my favorite place to stay at during my three weeks on Roatan.

Mames Trees was such a great place to rent a room in West End. The price was super affordable and the room was big with air conditioner, fridge and microwave.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a special experience.

What a fabulous one week visit in West Bay. Loved the Lodge staff and the critters. See you next spring!

Let's go with the good first. I stayed in a nice room with Ocean view the bathroom, the bed, and the small refrigerator were good. They are located nearby a large supermarket.

Hospitality and food were excellent! And the staff super friendly and never too busy to tend to our needs. I love coming to this place every year!

We loved our stay at the Dolphin Villa! As we were staying with extended family, we appreciated having separate bathrooms for every bedroom, and there was so much space that we never felt crowded.

I loved everything! The place is clean, new, the staff are nice, it’s close to the beach, safe, and near restaurants. I highly recommend it. It’s excellent.
