The staff were amazing. Very attentive, informative and we're always willing to help.
However, the rooms were falling apart. The walls all had patch work being done. The pipes were leaking. The ceiling had holes and was dripping water into the rooms. The rooms were full of mosquitos.
If this place were renovated, I'd come back every summer. But if it continues how it is, I would never come back.

Rooms are a bit basic for the price, but otherwise great place. Located in a nice local village with good local food options.
Went to Punte Izopo and the botanic garden from here, both great for birds and wildlife.
Host is very useful and speaks good Spanish/French/English.

I am not saying don’t stay here but be cautious!
We were excited about staying at this location. We knew it was not going to be luxurious but would be fun. We arrived late due to construction delays. The exterior, pool and grounds was as I was hoping, exciting looking. The caretaker was there to greet us and show us our rooms. Immediately he told us that one of the rooms was musty smelling because it had rained recently. Come to find out it hadn’t and the musty smell was mold every where. Rooms need serious attention and maintenance. We were going to attempt to stay despite the conditions but the mold and smell was too much and unhealthy. We contacted owner and caretaker that we had moved to another location after midnight. The owner did right and issued us a full refund within a day. This place has so much potential but needs someone to get it to that potential, mostly maintenance and upkeep.
