Really clean, comfortable and helpful. What all hostels should aim to be.

Great staff. Great place. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, cinema, mall. 20-30min walk to beach. My fave place to stay in La Ceiba.

Met some lovely people at 1877 that I am still traveling with. :) The hostel has also been very kind and helped me with my motorcycle woes. The space is generous and clean, with a nice covered terrasse. The access to a grocery store was also very convenient.

I quite liked obviously what I will visit new mind I quite like and also it is well fine I like all.

Great spot and has everything you need as far as clean facilities good kitchen and so on. Really great location, next door to a huge grocery store and restaurants and a 10 min walk from downtown square. Staff was ok. They were never to interactive but it wasn't necessarily bad.

I was scammed by a taxi driver into booking this place, I then overheard him asking the receptionist about his commission. The taxi driver lied about how far and how much it would cost to get to the hostel I actually wanted and ended up taking me to this one which is more expensive, a lot less impressive and really not what a wanted. I was absolutely disgusted that I fell into the trap and ended up having to stay here and I sincerely hope no one falls for this scam again. If a taxi driver tells you this is the most popular place… He's lying.

Great hostel and a great price. Clean and nice. Desk clerk speaks English.

Comfortable budget accommodation for those who come or go to Roatan or Utila. Spacious rooms and bedrooms. There is a female dorm. The beds are great. There are spacious lockers. A fully equipped kitchen. It is next to a supermarket so huge, so that you can prepare your food without problems. Offer tours and shuttles.

Clean and tidy environment and fast Internet! Not very cosy though.

Very clean and neat, the employees are very kind… Bed is confortable, shower is nice and hot. Prince is also good. I recommed Just like I was recommended :)

The best place to stay in the city. The staff is very friendly! Also the environment is very clean and cozy, clean sheets and it smells good. Very close to coffee shops, grocery shops. Absolutely loved this place and I am definitely come back.

The staff are very welcoming (also English speaking if anyone has trouble with Spanish) and helpful. The rooms are cozy, very clean, and the bathrooms are well kept (warm showers, even though it's very hot in La Ceiba). Absolutely loved the area — right next to several grocery stores, shops, etc. And it's not far from the Central Park. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

1877 is an amazing Hostel with kind staff & great vibes! My friend & I are traveling through Central America in a truck with a rooftop tent. 1877 allowed us to safely park at their Hostel, pop up our tent & use their facilities. So awesome! Without a doubt, the best Hostel in Honduras ❤️

As close to 5 star hostelling as I've had so far. Really clean, really comfortable beds, great amenities, kitchen, free water and coffee, and super friendly staff. I couldn't leave the place, it's great. Had some awesome jams on the guitar with Julio the owner, who I now consider a personal friend.

Very cool place to stay! You feel welcome and at home when you get there. The two owners are very kind and help you where ever they can! I just could stay one night and there were not too many people This day which is really sad since the place is definitely worth a stay. Also the place is nice, you got everything around you and no danger to go out. Anyways the hostel is well protected by night with a security. Enjoy!
