This place is old and run down. Absolutely not worth a dime to come here. COVID precauciones are Poor. Many guest are completely wasted with alcohol and staff doesn’t do anything to contain this behavior. Pool was filthy! I didn’t even bother to get in.
staff doesn’t seem to like their job and they don’t use gloves to serve food. Will never come back here. Can’t even imagine who in there right mind would give this place a 5 star. I don’t recommend this place take your business elsewhere. Terrible, old and dirty!

The hotel is beautifully appointed, with lush greenery throughout, interesting article objects, and fountains. There is a children's club and a large play area for children near the pool. They also provide spa services. The room was relatively spacious, with blackout curtains. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but it was not needed during my stay. There is a fireplace, but that wasn't needed, either. The beds were very firm, and the pillows were soft but lumpy. Toiletries were provided, and while I didn't try the shampoo/conditioner, the soap was mild and without a strong smell. Towels were changed daily. There is a safe in the room. I was able to buy toothpaste at the front desk, as I forgot mine. The breakfast buffet was good, and varied daily. All staff were friendly and accommodating. And while the hotel may be a little further from city center than some, you can easily walk there in 20 minutes.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. We enjoyed swimming and relaxing. The buffet at the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere at the bar was great. If you stay, I recommend to taste beef at the restaurant because of the taste and quality.

Went there for work but it felt like a mini vacation and was very relaxing. The scenery was gorgeous. No beach view, but views of volcan agua and another volcano. The service around the hotel was EXCELLENT. The staff are so helpful and do not hesitate to assist. I ate at the main restaurant and the food was excellent. Excellent. Very flavorful but not spicy. I highly recommend it.

First of all, you need to know that this is a hotel for families, there are several things to do in the venue, from playing tennis, to swimming in one of their swimming pools. There are several bars/restaurants in the hotel. This hotel also holds parties in its private large rooms. We found quite surprising that a hotel as such, not only charges extra for the internet, but also is a unique device. The location of the hotel is on the outskirts of the Antigua Town, you have a 10 min walk from its premises to the center of the city, this was of no inconvenience for us. Breakfast charge is high, but its worth given the quality of the food served. As not a good note, the travel agency inside the actual hotel, tried selling us some tickets to Flores for more than double the price, for the same exact service we purchased in another agency.

Nice, well maintained facility. Outdoor pool, Gymhalle, sauna available. Is in any case recommended further.

Our staying in Hotel Soleil, in Antigua, Guatemala, was delightful, the service was excellent and very professional. Their rooms, room staff and personal care was amazing. Their restaurant food was delicious to say the least. Soleil also provides excellent transportation into Antigua and important historical and cultural sites, as well as other restaurants such as San Martin, Cerro del Tenedor, San Cristóbal de Los Altos, Arco de Santa Catarina, el ex convento de Santo Domingo, just name some, this allowrd us to enjoy the hotel's own amenities as well other places around, Antigua. This what you can expect from El Hotel Soleil's professional service to its guests.

Well located at the exit from Antigua to Old Town, 5 star, deluxe rooms, with sauna and swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Highly recommended.

Luxurious hotel. Good food and good location!

Got on the weekend. At the hotel local Guatemalan moneybags to do weddings. From 6 am under my room arranged a beauty salon (there type common recreation area) … The bed was very good. However, after the complaint, offered to change the room) ) ). Noisy. The hotel is more under the imprisoned events. In 14:00 the lodges were refused, told to come in an hour, although the cleaned rooms were 100%.

A somewhat over the years hotel. Showers only in the bathtub, carpeted floor. No air conditioning.
The staff hardly speaks English. In the bar no possibility of communication, no English card. Is not a 4 star hotel.

It's a very quiet place even it is. Cheaper than the Pacific until the food is between 40 to 120

Very nice and comfortable. My only criticism is the lack of heating in the room. It was very cold and no heat. The fireplace just doesn't do it.

Nice Hotel, good food, good attention, there are only several guests who carry children and do not teach them to keep quiet at night when there are more guests resting.

Just watch out for the internet in the room which is paid as an extra charge.

We are Club members so use their facilities frequently. They have done many upgrades over the past 6 months including to the women’s locker room connected to the gym, the 2 working jacuzzi’s and sauna are a great amenity. The gym is small but never packed so it gives you a great exclusive feeling, who likes working out in front of people anyway! The tennis courts have been nicely up-kept and Silvania in the gyms reception always goes above and beyond. They have 3 pools, the main pool which is “naturally heated”, the children’s pool and the large lap pool which is open to all on the weekends. There is a “hidden” soccer field you can find behind the wing of the hotel which is nice for the children to run wild. They have swing-set and a few structures for children to play on. The facilities are great and seeing the birds is always exciting for my son. I️ have been continuously disappointed with the poolside service and the greeting as you enter and walk through the hotel. I️ wish their staff were more friendly but it is the only option in the area that is accepting new members so we had no other choice.

Ea very comfortable and the service is very good, cozy and very clean. The only problem I found was the lighting of the rooms, it is very dim and it is needed in some rooms.

Nice and comfortable. Close to the Central Park of the city of Antigua Guatemala. The detail of putting firewood in rooms to make small bonfire in the chimney is OK. Welcome drink.

This is a large resort with an incredible view of Fuego volcano, which often puts on a show of smoke and sometimes lava for the visitor. It's about a 15 minute walk to the heart of the city but there's always a taxi. They serve a good buffet.

Has what improve in their menus and attention why me disappointed enough the quality and temperature of them food, even what solved of form pleasant our problem considered what was one of them few things positive what vi after a time of not attend to the place.

Our Transfer to Guatemala City started from this hotel. We had to wait outside in front of the gate and weren't allowed to go inside. At least we were happy that the hotel was fully booked when we were looking for a room in Antigua. God help you if the hospitality is like this in the whole hotel.

Facilities: the rooms are OK, comfortable beds (except the sofa-bed of the villas) very clean pools, gardens are impeccable, if all the facilities are in very good condition.
Service: the staff is very attentive and very friendly, the service is excellent.
Food: breakfast buffet is pretty good, but the lunch left much to be desired, so it is paid you can eat richer in other restaurants of the old.

In my opinion, very family friendly and excellent to spend a weekend and eliminate the tension that is driven by work and other occupations.

Very confrtable, with many amenities and mainly family mainly advantages for potatoes young with entertainment for children and the Saturday x night pajama night party, leaving the boys a little while to relax in the bar, spa, restaurant, etc.

Nice hotel, safe, with many offers inside. The structure is kinda 80's, the employees are well trained and really polite. Not in the center, but near enough to walk 15 minutes.
