Inuk Hostels offer a really unique package; awesome view of the Nuuk Fiord, including a beautiful part of town (Kangillinnguit), nature right outside, good prices and a very nice and cozy feel. It may be far from city centre, but it’s not really a con, since the advantage is clear. Perfect for Instagram shots and sunsets, peace and quiet too. Highly recommended.

I hope that this was just a day that everything went wrong for this cosy and nice place. First of all the waiter did not come to greet us — we had to find the menu by our selves and wait. We were to adults and two kids. We ordered two burgers for the kids that was supposed to be half price for kids aprox. 12 USD per burger. My girlfriend and I ordered a 28 USD Steak each and now waited for a juicy steak of reindeer and lamb. What we received was 6 pieces of sliced up meat, frozen veggies and potatoes with a gravy. I tried to complain nicely to the lady but was told that it was not her fault and that we should speak to the owner and then she went away for like 30 min or more to smoke outside. We waited and waited to pay and go and get food somewhere else as we did not satisfy our hunger at all. When we finally got in contact we were made to pay double for the kids. I realised it was a waste of time talking to the waiter and decided to call the owner. The owner took the call but did not listen to my complaints and actually just got mad at my suggestion to solve the problem. Until now we have not received the money we paid in excess. I could not be more disappointed with this place.

I really like to thank Inuk Hostels for making it possible for me to finish my upcomming album. My producer Jens L. Thomsen lived in the Umimmak cabin with his girlfriend Kirstin and a bandmember to ORKA (Jens' band) Francine Perry. We used the cabin as a studio. The view and the surroundings were amazing. And Liisis hospitality gave the experience that extra lovely feeling that you can not explain. Thank you Inuk Hostels ❤️
