Love this place – although on beach, it has the vibe of a mountain refuge. Small, cozy, family-style place run by a guy who's as good in banter as in cooking homemade dinner – Vasily, you're the man!
Overall, great place to meet other travelers and talk the whole evening, whether you're hiking on Olympus or just relaxing at the beach.

This hostel was one of the best places I’ve stayed in Greece. The hostel is comfy and right next to a very peaceful beach. It also provides delicious meals and a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the summer breeze.

I had a great experience staying here for three nights during my time in Litochoro. The owners were very accommodating and offered good advice for my climb up Mount Olympus Mytikas peak. I found the food nice and affordable and the bedding was very clean.

Amazing place to stay. First, I'll start off by saying how great Vasilis is. We were staying at another hostel and our host called Vasilis to make the booking. Our host then told us that he would pick us up where the bus stops. So, when we arrived in Litochoro Vasilis picked us up and brought us to the hostel. Then once we were settled he went through all the hikes on Mount Olympus and recommended a 2 night path, doing a circuit. He even booked the refugios for us. Service was phenomenal and he even makes a delicious vegetable soup. If I am ever in the area again, I will be staying here. Hostel is also on the water so perfect place to have a swim after a hike. The hostel is outside of town but there is a bus that goes to town 3-4 times a day.

Perfect stay before and after climbing Mount Olympus! Vasilis is very knowledgeable and helpful in planning your hike up the mountain, and it's great to be able to swim in the sea after the hike :) homely vibe, lovely staff, all round great experience.

I had the best Hostel experience ever, great location at the beach, close to the Olympus, which is an stunning hiking area. The host Vasilis is very helpful and make you feel to be at home. Very welcoming host, peaceful location yet right at the beach and foot of mount Olympos. I stayed here a few days while exploring the national park and summiting myticas. I’ll definitely be back!

We were super lucky to find availability at summit zero in the last minute before it got dark! Snickers the cat and Yarko the dog were out first hosts, super friendly and cuddly, but Vasilis’ heartfelt hospitality, impeccable cooking skills and excellent music taste was what made this accidental stay truly one of a kind. Big plus, the beautiful location and overall great vibes from every other guest pulled towards this hidden gem of a hostel. Don’t even think about it twice if you’re considering booking :)

One of the best experience in hostel of my life. Definitely the best in Greece for me. All the team was very nice. It was hard to leave. Food is amazing. Vassili is your man if you need anything at any moment. He will give you advice, services and he knows how to cook! The mount Olympus is a climb you should have and you will find peace and slow life at this place to recharge before your next adventure.

We arrived without a car with the goal to hike Mt Olympus and Vasili made that possible! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed, the back of the hostel is peaceful green space where you can chill out while looking out to the ocean. Vasili showed us maps of Olympus National Park and gave us our options for hiking without a car. We chose to hike from Litchoro to Spilios Ruge A (20km), stay the night and then summit the next day and descend to Prionia (12km) where we would hitchhike back to Litchoro. Big couple of days but well worth the effect to summit Mytikas. We were able to leave our bags at the hostel while we went up to Olympus. Without all the information and guidance from the hostel we wouldn’t have been able to hike so smoothly. Thanks so much again Vasili, love your work!

Had a great stay at Summit to Zero Hostel! It’s the perfect base for a hike up Mount Olympus. We stayed the night before our hike to Mytikas and then returned for a few nights of relaxing at the beach. Big shoutout to Vassilis for being such a great host! He showed us the best options for hiking Olympus and gave us excellent tips on which routes to take and refuges to stay in, he really knows the mountain well. If I’m ever back in this area, I’ll definitely be dropping in again.

Arrived to summit zero after climbing Mount Olympus and met Vasili, who was extremely helpful from the word go. The location is lovely, right beside the beach, and the facilities are ideal.
