I'm delighted I chose the alkyon location idyllic I hope to go next year I loved skiathos.

This year I have spent my summer holiday in hotel Alkyon on island Skiathos and I was satisfied. First of all, hotel has a great location, near harbour and also near bus stop to all beaches, which is very important if you want to find a seat because you are first there. It has a beautiful roof terrace with an amazing seaview, in the morning we enjoyed our breakfast there. Although breakfast was the same every day, there was variety of food so it was acceptable to me. Hotel also has a pool area with sunbeds. I was very satisfied with hygiene in this hotel, rooms were cleaned every day. Staff was very nice and really helpful. I strongly recommend you to have a drink in a bar, the atmosphere is nice there, especially in the evening. About disadvantages: hotel despartly need to be renewed (pretty old furniture, windows, sunbeds should be replaced) and then it will be top.

Every morning same things for breakfast, with very poor choice. They have some problems with dishwasher (makes cutlery sticky). When we arrived, we got a room practically in the basement, where we were freezing for 2 days until we got a replacement. The room does not have some things that I think every hotel of any categorization should have, such as ketler, safe, mini bar. Great location, comfortable bed and friendly staff are improving the impression. The pool is small but nice and there is no crowd. The furniture around the pool is extremely bad, mostly very old, rusted and dirty.

The location is excellent rooms good fridge and plenty of storage space. Friendly staff helpful. Outside areas bit worn out and tired looking, needs a liçk of paint and TLC. Lovely terrace for breakfast and for using in the evening for a drink overlooking the harbour X.

Mum and dad have stayed here for a few years running. My dad passed away in 2016 and mum wanted to come back with myself and wife. We came with her to this hotel as this was her favourite place apart from my cousins house in the town. It is wonderful but I would suggest you pay the extra for the sea facing rooms.

The Alkyon Hotel is about a 5-minute Walk from the Town Of Skiathos, which Overlooks the Harbour. Guest Rooms are air-conditioned and feature a Telephone, refrigerator, Flat-screen TV and Closet. The Bathrooms come with a Bathtub and Hairdryer. Rooms have a Balcony, or Terrace with Sea — or Garden views. The Rooftop restaurant offers a beautiful View of the Harbour.

International breakfast. Large terrace from which you can enjoy the view of planes on landing. The hotel is located in the central area.

Well placed hotel by the water in Skiathos town but a bit dated could do with an overhaul. But overlooked this as so good for where it is.

Nice hotel. The view for breakfast is nice. The hot water is not hot while a lot of people are showering.

Good deal. Good place to stay in a wonderful setting.

Positive experience for the hotel. Harbour View, walking distance from the center. Friendly staff and ready to satisfy in the possible the needs of those who require them. I would go back.

View from sea View room is stunning, hotel is of a very good standard throughout. Only let down is the quantity of sunbeds around the pool, less than 20 for the whole hotel but if you are a beach person the local bus service is very frequent and convenient. Overall a hotel we would be happy to return to.

1st time staying here and so far really impressed. The room is furnished to a very good standard and the balcony has a nice view of the far end of the harbour. Located close to bus stop 0 so easy to get about the island. Also located close to bars taverns and shops. The hotel also has a small pool with Sun loungers and umbrellas. The prices in the bar as pretty reasonable 7 euros for 2 large myths (local beer).

Central but quiet. The staff was very helpful All services within walking distance… Bus, market, ATM, local, restaurants.

Great Hotel… Even the lower floor in spite of what you could hear is exceptional X private terrace open on the shared garden with Hammock… Spacious… Efficient cleaning…

Had a lovely holiday second time to this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, fabulous location especially if you like watching the planes coming in! Breakfast location is beautiful on rooftop terrace overlooking the new harbour. Booking again for next year.

A bit old Hotel but really nice, just a little put back in the sixth. It has so many facilities and the rooms are clean. Continental breakfast included and sea view from the terrace. It has small pool, but it is a few steps from the center of Skiatos, very convenient because behind the parking of the coaches.
