Anna is a really friendly and helpful hostess, she gave us very good advice, the rooms are well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

Topissime! Nothing to complain about. Rooms are large and very well equipped if you want to cook. The bedding is comfortable. The great pool the ideal location to calm while being 10 mins walk from the center of Oia and what about the quality of the reception of Anna… It's like a friend's… A h yes I forgot the breakfast is fabulous with homemade cakes and jams…

Wonderful place! Very good kitchen in the room, balcony and waterpool (wasn't ready in the middle of April). The service is absolutely amazing: very nice administrator Anna showed us all the beautiful places and highlights of Oia and of the whole island and was kind and friendly. Also she organized for us transfer to airport.
The place is based in the very beginning of Oia village. Supermarkets and bakery are nearby, so you can buy some food and cook in your room. The bus stop and the main road is about 3-5 minutes walk, so the place is very quiet. The center of Oia is about 7-10 low walk from the Maria's Place Hotel. It's seems far, but it is really not (especially if you walk through Oia).

Beautiful place to stay and enjoy Santorini or more accurately Thira … Anna treats you like you are family. The facilities are well maintained with comfortable beds, location great with a beautiful view, and a superb well priced breakfast. Did I mention that Anna treats you like family …? Highly recommend!

Maria's Place (or more like Anna's Place) was awesome. The units were spacious, private, and clean. It also had an AIR CONDITIONER and Wi-Fi. The hotel had a nice clean pool and plenty of comfortable lounge chairs to soak up the Santorini sun. At night there is an amazing view of the sunset that others line the streets to see. There is also a breakfast available every morning that is well worth it. Regardless what really made this spot stand out is Anna's, the woman who runs the hotel. She was incredibly nice and really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She helped set up rides from and to the airport, made dinner reservations, accommodated for a food allergy and was just generally very pleasant. Overall this hotel exceeded all of our expectations and I strongly recommend staying. You won't regret it.

Well equipped, clean and with a view of the sunset, Maria's Place, which is run by, and feels more like, Anna's Place, was the perfect place to experience Oia, provided that you enjoy moderate walking and do not wish to be staying in the congested centre of the town. With nearby vehicle hire, a local supermarket and a bus stop, I would choose Maria's if I were to return to Santorini. However, I suspect that Maria's is well known and very popular, and early booking is a must, especially to secure the cheaper, off season places.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Maria's place for the 3rd time now. I have travelled to Santorini on 3 separate occasions and in different years and each time has been an absolutely awesome experience… Anna is the lady in charge and is the most friendly and welcoming host, she really made an effort to make me and my friends feel so welcome and part of her family. She is always very helpful and readily available for anything you might need, including organization of shuttle services to the port or airport at any time. Her breakfasts, which she prepares herself everyday are a real treat, especially her homemade jams, puddings and mouthwatering choc filled biscuits. The apartments continue to be so clean and neat, and I love the upgrade to the beautiful showers in the bathroom. There is great attention to detail for the guest and the self catering also serves its purpose well. The Nespresso machine in our room was especially a treat for that early cup of coffee before breakfast. The pool is extremely well kept and a real pleasure to laze around during the day. Maria's place will always be my first choice of accommodation when in Santorini and I just want to say to Anna and Kostas, thank you for all your hard work and kindnesses… I hope I am lucky enough to be able to travel again to Santorini and stay with you. Good hotel for those who want to stay within walking distance from Oia, good value for money, it is not a luxurious resort as seen in Santorini but value for money and good for those who don't want to spend a lot!

Awesome. The most helpful and friendly people run this place. It is clean, convenient ie short walk to town and popular photo/scenic points in Oia.
