Never met a staff as friendly and genuinely nice, every single person has a smile on their face and is willing to help and cares for your needs. Salim and his amazing fresh breakfast deserves more than 5 stars. The view is breathtaking and the hotel and their many beautiful potted plants are well kept up with. Conclusion impeccable customer service, super clean, amazing view and very well located.

Simply put: one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the amazing view, to the well kept terrasse, the Hotel Kavalari knows how to make you feel welcome. But the most important factor in all of this is the staff, and they are truly great! Between the professional reception, the friendly (and very tasty) breakfast, and the everyday banter: these people know how to make you feel welcome like a member of their family.

Excellent hotel for beauty the island of Santorini. The location is the best. The Cordiliadidad of the hotel is unbeatable and the hotel is very nice and warm. I would recommend to visit the island rent a scooter and so enjoy beaches and other beautiful views of the island.

Awesome hotel. The receptionists really care about the clients and help with everything from finding excursions to the best local souvlaki to coordinating transportation. The view is to die for and the daily breakfast handmade by Salim is almost as amazing as Salim’s impeccable hospitality.

Location: just 10 min taxi or bus ride away from Santorini airport, very convenient location in fira by the water with amazing views! Facilities: clean and comprehensive Price: around 50-60 euros per night for a single room, with an amazing breakfast included! (Freshly squeezed orange juice, tea/coffee, different types of pastries including spanikopita, fruit salad, and cheese/cold cuts) Reception desk is also very friendly and helped me arrange early taxis to see sunrise and gave me lots of bus/tour info's! Only con is the Wi-Fi is very poor on the lower level rooms and I had to go to the upper terrace to connect.

Best views — old style charm and clean.

The location and view from this hotel make it absolutely excellent! Yes, the rooms are a bit dated (even in the Executive rooms), and the beds are a bit hard. However, the staff and views make up for these small shortcomings. Also, if you rent a quad/buggy, there is a close parking lot down near the hotel Atlantis which is a very short walk!

Very disappointed :/ The pictures on the website looked fantastic, and the location superb… but as you can see, a picture is worth a thousand words. Be careful with this hotel as not all rooms are nice. Some are amazing and some are… well, like the one we had. Small, twin beds (when we explicitly asked during the booking for a double bed, as we were a couple looking for romantic holidays), we even had to do our own beds (? ). Totally charmless. The views were very good though, and the breakfast too (including natural orange juice). The woman who attended us during checking/checkout: very nice as well. By the way, there is no Wi-Fi. We tried almost everything, including two visits to reception. Nothing. In 2017 Wi-Fi is not something nice to have but must to have. Oh! And the jacuzzi: fantastic if it were not for the fact that the water was COLD! Crazy…

Absolutely loved everything about this place! The cave hotel was well worth the price (which is better than any around for what you get! ) and was very comfortable with AC, Hot water, and a fridge to keep your water and local beers cold! The service was amazing and helped us to make reservations, book tours, and answered every question we had about the island. The only warning is that there are a lot of stairs! If that's hard for you, then this might not be the best, but Its 100% worth the all the steps for the amazing views, service and hospitality!

We loved this place! Cave grotto rooms with nice showers. We did the one bedroom queen on the breakfast level. Came in April so it was off season. $90/ night. Included breakfast every morning. The fresh squeezed orange juice was the best. Rooms come with a safe. Wi-Fi is available, but really slow. The signal is good, but the speed is based if one other person is streaming. Try to get a room closer to the top, going up and down those flights of stairs can get dizzying. Service is solid, and the rooms are clean. Expect some humidity as you are living in a cave! Lastly, the sunsets here are amazing… Just amazing!
