It's amazing! Been to Greece loads but this hotel tops the lot. Great family, great food, nice pool area, nice rooms. Totally spoilt, love it xxxxx.

A lovely little family run hotel in a beautiful place. It’s a 3 star but they treat you like a 5 star and more nothing is ever to much for them. Had a fantastic 5 nights and already planning on going back next year. Food is cooked fresh on ordering and tastes amazing every time. All the family was lovely and met some fabulous people. Thank you again for a fantastic holiday xx.

What’s not to love… friendliest family run hotel, brilliant helpful friendly staff. Fantastic food, very clean and relaxed. Quiet situation for a lovely relaxed break. Just back from 3rd visit and will definitely be back next year.

This is so family orientated run and everyone so friendly. Can't do enough for you. Rooms bit basic but as it's a holiday only need to sleep there. So much outside space to relax and sit by pool. Would definitely recommend. Most people here have been on numerous occasions… wonderful.

Every second you get to spend with this amazing family is a pleasure! An amazing oasis to chill and relax in a beautiful setting. Everything member of staff look after you 100% with a big smile. Just perfect.

Just back from a fabulous week at the rhodian sun. A lovely family run hotel, set In a beautiful and quiet location, within easy reach of a secluded pebble beach. The family and staff are so friendly and will help In anyway possible. They arranged trips at a good price and provide a shuttle service to another little town that has a great beach for water sports and the usual shops. Our room had a great view of the sea and surrounding area. Loved the place and can't wait to go back again. Thank you all for a great holiday. Definitely a 5/5 from me.

Perfect place to stay on rhodes island. Situated no more than 10 minutes away from the airport. Family run buisness who are all friendly and welcoming, laid back but professional. The food is very tasty here 3 course meal every night. The rooms are satisfactory and clean. I recommend hiring a car to get around the island as this hotel is in a reclusive area. Always enjoyed heading back from our days out knowing we had a tasty meal waiting for us. Nice place, and nice people running it.

Hello I am currently staying at this hotel in half board for a week. Warm welcome, professional and competent staff, this is a family hotel. Very nice atmosphere and perfect for small budgets I recommend.

The family run hotel is gloriously relaxed! The brothers are sooooooo generous with their time and always make you feel one of the family! It's quirky and a treasure trove of wonderful memories to take home! The food is excellent! There is a real delight as one of the brothers explains the menu! If you want something out of the ordinary come to the Rhodian Sun! There are a few couples that have been regular visitors and I don't doubt we will be back!

Meal times absolutely ridiculous you have to pick up a spoon with your number on it and they take your order by number you could be waiting up to an hour and half just to place your order the food is good when you get it but this is every meal time spent more of my weeks holiday waiting for food. The sunbeds was hit and miss if you got one that didn't collapse on you was a good day, the hotel have 2 dogs of their own with 1 of their sons having a Doberman pinsher puppy and it was a peeing contest between the pup and an older male dog up the walls, table legs where every they could inside the reception, bar area, then the older male would attack the terrified female dog and as a dog lover I found the whole experience upsetting. If you had stayed at the hotel previous you didn't have to sit in the restaurant with your spoon you could wait in the bar area and they would take your order from there and the owners of the hotel treated them like royalty would not go back or recommended this hotel.

Low budget hotel yet not nice and clean. Not best choice…

We loved every minute of our holiday. This is the most welcoming and friendly place we have ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful and made everyone feel really special and the location and setting are perfect. Thank you so much for making it such a pleasure.

12th — 19th August 2017. The Rhodian Sun is rated 2* but the hospitality, food and cleanliness is 5*. There were 6 of us, 3 adults, 2 16 yr old boys and a 3 yr old. We all had a fabulous holiday. The owners are really lovely people, they collected us to and from the airport. George actually took us one afternoon to visit a stable yard that is managing a breeding programme for the little native horses of Rhodes that are becoming extinct. (Please visit and support this programme if you stay at the Rhodian Sun, they're doing a fab job). The food is cooked fresh to order every meal and they planned a delicious vegetarian option for me each lunch and dinner. Much of their food is homegrown. We will definitely return next year, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Just arrived home from the best 2 week holiday ever! The treatment we received from the moment we were collected at the airport to when we were dropped off was first class! This family (and the 3 students working there for the summer) cannot do enough for you and it's all the little things that made our holiday exceptional. This is not a large shiny commercialised hotel but a warm, quirky, traditional family hotel with a personal touch. We will definitely keep in touch and will be back. We arrived home late last night and are already having withdrawal symptoms The family who run this wonderful hotel are the happiest, smiley, funny and helpful people you could want in hosts. The ethos of this hotel seems to be relax, unwind and take your time, even at mealtimes because of the freshly cooked to order meals, you get chance to sit and just chill with your loved ones.
There is no loud music blaring and you are not pestered to join in any animation activities because there aren't any, in fact there were 2 evenings of entertainment while we we're there which were excellent, a rock tribute band and a Greek night.
If you want drinking and food all day, activities and kids clubs stay away, if you want a traditional Greek, laid back, super friendly holiday this is the place to go and we are already looking to return next year.

Was not sure what to expect but met and excelled expectations — such a lovely friendly family who find nothing is too much trouble — we had a great holiday and cannot say how much we enjoyed it — the food was lovely and clean with bedding and towels changed more often than in some 4 star places we have stayed. The icing on the cake is as I say the friendly and homely environment with the plus of being a bit of home for dog lovers.

Great place if you going to relax and enjoy your holiday Light inclusive covers your breakfast, lunch and dinner plus drinks on same time. Lovely family running hotel so you feel like home from the first day you there.

I have stopped all over the world and this is seriously the best hotel. The way you are welcomed and looked after is second to none. A fantastic place to unwind and relax. The food is out of this world, not had a bad meal here. A huge thank you too George, Stavros, Nikos and family.

Small hotel is kept by family. The kitchen is home rather than buffet style. Very tasty Greek salad. The beach is a 10 minute walk away, there is a swimming pool inside. Rooms on the 1st floor of dirty, above much better. The owners are very friendly.

The best place to spend time as you explore the most beautiful place on earth. I love everyone there — even if they prefer Lloyd and Tommy to me. Would recommend 100% to anyone thinking of visiting Rhodes.

Absolutely brilliant! From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome. The hotel is family run, with family values. Fantastic freshly made food, cooked to perfection and Greek night was unbelievable. I shall be returning in May 2016 and again in September 2016. To say value for money, is an understatement. A lovely hotel, run by a lovely family. If you really, truly want to experience an authentic Greek holiday, with a traditional Greek lifestyle, then book yourself into the Rhodian Sun Hotel.

Very lovely welcoming staff! The food is amazing & all freshly cooked. For my dinner I had a beautiful four course meal for only 12€ which I was very pleased with. The hotel has everything you need from free airport transfers to free Wi-Fi. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and looks like it belongs somewhere in Italy. Very happy and hope I get the chance to visit again.

So imagine the hotel similar to the times of the SSA.
