Hotel Dimitra is situated in a very quiet location, in Agios Prokopios area of Naxos Island, 10 minutes by car from the port of Naxos. The distance from the magnificent sandy beach of Agios Prokopios is only 150 metres, away from the crowds, making the accommodation an ideal place for relaxing. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is authentically warm and the atmosphere is friendly.

The hotel is in close walking distance to the beach. The room that we had had nice Stone floors and was quite clean. The bed was comfortable and they brought an extra bed for our 10 year old son that he also said was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and large for the shower the toilet was new and the sink was a nice vanity. However there was very little storage room for any toiletries within the bathroom. The hotel is family-run and the picture of the owner's late wife hangs in a position of Honor over the check-in counter. This is a family appropriate hotel and I would like to stress that we came here with one son and he found Playmates his age to hang with among the other residents. Of course your visit may be different than ours but we see many families with children playing in the pool. Ask for the pool it is quite nice and cool enough to cool off in but not so cold that you hate it. You also get yellow towels you can take to the beach and use at pool from the hotel. There is also an offer for some type of breakfast package from the hotel but we did not pursue that as we typically do not eat pastries for breakfast though my son who has done would probably like that a lot. However some of the other families spoke highly of the cakes the grandmother would make. Do note that the hotel is not as marked on the Google Maps it is actually slightly down the side street. The Wi-Fi ran 20 to 30 megabytes per second which is decent.
