Vanas Apartments

Great spot in a quiet area, 10min walk from all the action.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from the beginning to the very end. Highly recommended!

This place was a complete rip off! Maybe if it was 40€ per night it would be worth it, especially if you're drunk, otherwise it's garbage. Nothing really worked, such as the refrigerator, the bathroom was run down and the shower doors were off their tracks. You could hear everything that was going on in the room next door.
This is a "hotel" run by people who are not in the hospitality business, they're ripping off your hard earned money! Spend an extra 35€ and treat yourself to someplace better!

In the hills behind the town centre. About a 20 minute walk but owners will pick/drop you off. Rooms were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Nice poolside area with drinks/snacks available. Staff were helpful and spoke English. It is a rural location so be prepared for the dawn chorus if you are a light sleeper.

A run of the mill, no thrills, standard class old apartment. The service was amazing, we were extremely satisfied with the people who worked at Vanas. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is a bit far from the main port and it's all the way uphill but the owners gave us a ride on their van the first time we arrived. The pool is very clean. The rooms though are a bit outdated. There is poor soundproofing so if you are a light sleeper, forget sleeping. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from the next room, the shutters and Windows have never been upgraded so if you're sitting next to the pool, it will feel like the drunkards sitting by the pool bar at 01:00 am, are sitting in your room. The frames still have the original single glass they came with in the 1980s and wooden frames which do not shut completely. The bathrooms are clean but again, outdated and old. The kitchenette is basic if you decide to use it but we didn't test it ourselves. If you get a cheap deal on the hotel it's alright I guess for a couple of nights but if I had booked this for a 2 week stay, I would have regretted it.
