The photos online posted by the hotel do not appropriately represent this… establishment. Their photos are classy, things look nice. Hell, I would have settled for clean. In reality, that's just two or three rooms and the entryway. Even more entertaining is that the art on the first floor is very nice (in variety if not taste) whereas floors 1 and 3 have the exact same art prints in the exact same spots and are gathering dust. I didn't notice floor 2, but would be surprised if it differed. My point? They've spruced up some areas to make everything look nice to draw guests in and then what you get is what you get. In reality the room is what you'd expect from a creeper cheap hotel in New York, tucked away in some alleyway. The bed was rock hard, the floors have stains and the bath is normal depth with about half the width. Which makes it a shower that you have to step in to. Speaking of undependable behavior, each room is graced with the tools to make coffee or tea. Mugs, spoons, the water heater. Heck! Even the little glass bowl that the tea and coffee packets go in is there, right on top of a cute little tray! The only thing missing? The bloody tea and coffee. When asked about it at the front desk, the employee (not concierge nor customer service; they wouldn't know the meaning of the concept) stated that they did not offer tea or coffee and that you had to pay for it… and "that's the way it is".

Very friendly welcome … Rooms have been getting old but big, cleanly cheap and central.

Expensive for a room of the years 90…

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and the room was totally outdated, the bed uncomfortable and it smelled of cold smoke! We suspect we got a single room because only one towel was in the bathroom and it had only one night box. It was very noisy, the balcony window did not bring any noise protection and at 7 o'clock one was awakened by Glockenspiel. The bathroom was also very old and we had a seat bathtub which was totally uncomfortable to m showers. The breakfast itself was quite ok, except for the fact that nobody took care of it, guests had breakfast on saucers as no one provided dishes and when the coffee was out or else they had bad luck! We paid €53 per night including breakfast and that was totally miserable for the performance. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone!

It was clean, and well kept. The linens were soft and of good quality. The bathroom was large, updated and had good water pressure. The A/C was strong and so was the internet signal. It was VERY reasonably priced including a good breakfast. There was fresh squeezed orange juice. I loved it!

Rooms are old. Wi-fi was terrible. When we stayed, a huge green hopper was in our room and so we didn't realise until 2am, when it flew down and landed on the desk next to me. Because of that, it lead to little sleep. The staff are a bit clumsy. And the double beds are terrible, hurt my back. So, if there is nothing else available, just come to this hotel.

This hotel is more two star than three star in my opinion. Whereas everything was clean, the walls were stained, there were gaps in the bathroom door along the lock, and the hotel had a faint cigarette smoke smell. However, the host was very nice and made us feel welcome. Not a bad stay, just not a 3 star ranked hotel.

Good hotel. Great breakfast with orange cake and homemade jams. Easy parking in front of or around. Among other things the person at the desk, without having asked nothing, she spontaneously and obligingly provided all possible indications on what to see or places to eat.
