Muses Milos

Nice quiet secluded spot on the south coast of Milos. We needed something last minute when our ferry was cancelled and they delivered. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean. For this price point I highly recommend.

Excellent experience. Our room (suitable for three people) was recently renovated and basically brand new! Comfy beds, spacious, lovely terrace with chairs, parking space right in front, friendly owners. We stayed for three nights. Would certainly recommend.

This place was really amazing for a 5 nights stay! Besides amazing view and great food, we really loved the friendliness of the staff starting with the lovely cleaning lady and all the guys from the Taverna!

This hotel ruined the last month of my family's life. We booked through Booking. Com. They cancelled the booking and when we called them, they said not to worry, they will take the booking directly (clearly to avoid paying the booking. Com fee). We agreed and gave them our credit card number. 20 international phone calls later, they were unable to take payment with three different credit and debit cards. At the end, they requested that we transfer cash directly to their account instead. My husband refused since we are going to a conference and need an actual invoice which they would not provide, probably to tax evade. So finally, today, we spoke to them again, and they have decided to give the room away and leave us without accommodation. It is completely unfair that we lost our booking because we refused to transfer cash to a Greek account. Avoid this place at any cost.

We had a great stay here for 6 days at the end of September. The rooms were very clean, and were cleaned everyday by the wonderful housekeeper. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It is a few steps away from Provatas beach which was our favourite beach on Milos because of the soft sand and clean water. We rented a car since it was not walkable to the main area, but it was worth it to stay here. Although we did not get to try the restaurant, the views from it are beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

These are just good overall rooms but way overpriced for the quality. Minimal hospitality, pre booking experience is deceiving. Web pictures and personnel on the phone make things seem premium when they aren’t. It’s funny It took them by surprise when we couldn’t find the so called reception, which proved to be the actual entrance of their restaurant’s kitchen. You expect some attention to detail with the prices asked but there is none. Really friendly cleaning lady but cleaning was inadequate, perhaps justified by a cockroach encounter we had. The view and location are stunning.

You’ll have to check in through the restaurant reception. Minimal hospitality, just enough for what you’ve paid.
Great beach in front.

We cannot rate this place enough! Amazing location, lovely people, beautiful rooms and great food. George has been so very helpful organising taxis and giving great recommendations. This is a little peace of heaven to get away from the madness of life. The beach is a stones throw from the lovely rooms and cafe. We didn’t hire a car (they were all full so book early if you want one) but in a way I’m happy as it meant we could slow down which is what we needed. We did the half day Delfina boat tour which was perfect for us. You can see the amazing gerontas and kleftico for a quarter of the price of the catarmarans and it goes from the next village klipos. The taxi is quite pricey to get there but still cheaper than hiring a car. We also rented a boat for half a day which was absolutely fabulous and allowed to see the other half of the south coast, the sulphur mines (amazing) and ladder beach. We concluded that provatas is definitely the nicest beach by far and a very well kept secret. I just hope it stays that way. Thank you Muses we’ve loved our milos holiday!

You would be a lucky duck to stay at Muses. We had plans to explore the island but hid out here for our whole 2 day stay because we couldn’t imagine any better time! The beach is gorgeous, soft sand, clear & calm water. We shared the beach with maybe 15 people! The only thing more beautiful than the beach is George. The host with the most! Upon check-in we knew we were in for something special. Vodka pasta with shrimps, calamari, the best tzatziki! Everything you need is at Muses. I hope to come back again!

What a great place to stay! Beautiful rooms with great daily service! I’m still here looking at this amazing view from my balcony and I couldn’t leave without leaving a stellar review! I will be recommending this place to friends and family! Special thanks to Sofia, George and Efi to make this even better! If I come back to this island will definitely be staying here!

M U S E S R O O M S are very nice. We highly recommend this rooms. Sofia is so lovely and her staff are superb too. Muses rooms has an excellent location in Provatas, just a few metres from a beautiful beach. Muses also has a restaurant there. We had a wonderful stay in our room with a amazing view of the sea. Our room was in a very good condition and nicely done up. The room is very clean, have an air-condition, a save, fridge, waterboiler, TV and free highspeed WLan. The bathroom is very nice — pretty new design. It was our first stay here and certainly not the last one. W E C O M E B A C K! Until then, all the best Jennifer & Nils.

What can I say?
The location — superb.
The service — excellent.
The food — apart from catching the fish yourself — this is the freshest fish you are ever going to eat in a restaurant.
