Samaina HOTEL

We enjoy staying here, it was my 3rd time this year. The owner Petros is one of the nicest people I’ve met. He welcomes you everyday with the nicest smile. Hotel is very clean, nice sized bedrooms with a nice with and a small balcony. Only thing I am not big fan of is shower curtains but it’s not a deal breaker :) To sum it up great value for money.

The Samaina Hotel is the most wonderful hotel possible. We had such a lovely look onto the water, with a delightful balcony. A five minute walk from the pier. Beautiful lobby, crisp sheets. The proprietors, Petros & Stamatia, are generous and gracious hosts. They make each guest feel special.

The best hotel in the Samos. Rooms and whole hotel is clean and tidy. Hotel owner is a great person. Petrus me and my wife had fruitful conversation each day and evening when we see each other in the lobby. I strongly recommend you to stay at this hotel, you wont regret.

A lovely family run hotel with comfortable and very clean rooms with a good shower and comfortable beds. It has balconies looking out over a terrace full of flowers and a bit of the blue blue sea. Quiet location and lovely friendly owners.

A few hundred metres back from the seafront, so quiet and peaceful. Petros was incredibly friendly and helpful. He and his wife provide a fantastic breakfast, with lots of home made food.
There is parking nearby, but don't believe Google maps for directions — would have had us driving down a flight of steps!

Petros welcomed us perfectly. He is very kind, loves his job and is a gentleman. The location of the hotel is very nice, most importantly, it is clean and the staff is very friendly. It will definitely be my only choice on my next trip.

This hotel is so lovely! It is run by husband & wife! There was fresh homemade cake waiting in my room for me upon my arrival! Through out my stay the owner was very helpful with recommendations in the area. Great service that you won’t find at a larger hotel. Very walkable area, cute I heart Samos mural on the outside. The rooms are spotless & very clean! Great views from balcony! They even were so kind to make me more cake & brining it to me when it was still warm from the oven! Would stay here again!

The hotel is perfect with every detail. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The location is 3-4 minutes away from the marina by walking. We will definitely stay here when we come to the island again.

Petros and his lovely wife are excellent hosts. Kind and helpful (they provided their full support to a guest who had been taken ill during their stay) and full of recommendations on where to eat, where to go and how to get there. For an additional charge, you can have a delicious breakfast of homemade bread, dried & candied fruits, Greek yogurt and Greek honey, and the special item of the day (e. G. Greek pitas, an omelette. )
The rooms are exceptionally clean and the linens have the freshest smell unlike US hotel sheets. The sea views from the higher rooms are spectacular.
You won't be disappointed if you choose this hotel.
One caution: The hotel has steps to get to the entrance and steps to get to the upper rooms so if you have mobility issues, you should be aware. There is an elevator/lift in the hotel.

Great hotel, located in the heart of Phytagorio — Close to main street, port, castle, restaurants, shops and phytagorio beach. The rooms are well equipped and exceptionally clean. The sea view from terrace is breathtaking.
We came in October and the street where hotel is located was silent, no loud noises etc in the night.
The owners are kind and sweet people, happy to answer questions and advise about the island.

My second time staying at Samaina Hotel and it will not be the last 😊 Perfect location, clean rooms, big balcony with view, delicious breakfast with homemade pies and homemade jam every day. Petros and his lovely wife are extremely friendly and serviceminded and even gave me recommendations about a great hairdresser and manicurist 😊 Both times I have had great ”neighbours” at the hotel which has been a nice bonus. Hope to be able to visit very soon again.

Samaina is a very nice hotel to stay, Petros and his lovely wife are always so kind and helpful about almost everthing (shopping, restaurants, planning a day ;). Great hospitality and friendly attitude.
The hotel’s location is about 2 minutes walk away from the center, the room is cleaning everyday and has a pretty balcony with a nice sea view. We are so glad to meet him and staying there.

Petros and his wife are excellent, friendly and supportive hosts. The location should not be underestimated, it is perfect, short distances from everything (including the ferry port) and quiet. We chose Samaina from our short list as it stood out with its bright colours, and never regretted it. Oh and we didn’t have to worry about the classic hotel old sagging bed — the bed was the best we’ve had in a hotel since pre-pandemic.

Our stay at Hotel Samaina was one of the best experiences of our tour of the Greek island of Samos. The cordiality of Peter and his wife is unsurpassed. Every morning we were surprised with a delicious and extensive breakfast with freshly baked bread, cake, and homemade jams from fruits of the island. From our beautiful comfortable room with a terrace, we enjoyed the view of the city and the sea. We will definitely come back again. Kind regards from Wim and Karin from the Netherlands.
