Doryssa Method Hotel

Such an attentive place — every single staff member is incredibly polite and professional. The hotel’s overall facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean, the rooms are new and very comfortable, and the location is simply beyond amazing. It even has its own beach, and if you prefer, you can also swim right from the town center. Being so close to the port is a huge plus, especially for dropping off your luggage easily. The breakfast is also very nice.

That's what you can have when you book at the Doryssa Method Hotel in Pythagoreon/Samos. The smell of mold instead of a sea breeze greeted us on our short visit to Samos in 2025. The lady at the reception desk didn't inform us about the hotel being overbooked until after our evening check-in, thus deliberately withholding the information about the downgrade to the staff area. It was late, the children were tired, so we had to accept it. Conclusion: never again to this hotel, no matter what compensation offers they might make in response to my criticism. Please share similar experiences. This is the only way we can prevent other people from falling into this trap.

Due to a last-minute flight issue, we ended up staying here for one night—and what a pleasant surprise it was. The staff was exceptional: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable—clearly a lot of care went into the details.
We also loved the charming garden area and the stylish bar and lobby just across the street at their sister property. It was such a relaxing atmosphere.
In hindsight, we wish we had spent our entire stay here. The next day, we moved to their more expensive sister hotel, Lithos, located at the top of the hill—and unfortunately, it was a letdown in several ways. This hotel, by contrast, exceeded expectations.

My stay at Doryssa Method was truly unforgettable, thanks to the amazing staff and the beautiful ambiance of the hotel. The place itself is a work of art, with its incredible design and architecture that creates a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway.
What really made my visit stand out, though, was the fantastic service from the entire team. Every staff member was incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile with a genuine smile. I want to give a special mention to Ksemia, who was absolutely wonderful. She was so resourceful and always made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Along with the manager, Ksemia’s friendly and attentive nature truly made our trip more enjoyable.
If you’re planning a visit to Samos, this is definitely the place to stay. A big thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable!

Beautiful hotel and clean room. In the room always smells good. Location right in the center of the core. The hotel includes a spa and gym, its super cool!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, all employees were friendly and devoted. Thanks to their care and attention during our stay, our holiday went smoothly. Since we booked the wrong room, we would have to stay in a room without a balcony. We expressed our desire to move to a higher room by paying the difference, but the hotel was completely full. Afterwards, thanks to a cancellation, they took us to a room with a balcony without demanding any payment, for which we especially thank all the friends on duty.

There is 2 hotels, Doryssa method and Doryssa Theorem. The room we had was okay but the shower is tiny and awful. Things didn’t work in the room nor bathroom.
Only good thing was open buffet breakfast in the morning which served in the Theorem side.

Wonderful staff who really care about their guests. Really takes care but came right away when we had a problem with the air conditioning and asked how we were doing. Can only recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, clean and convenient. Small, simple room but all we needed. Very comfortable bed (low platform). Fridge in room and great AC. Loved the little balcony. Walk to all the restaurants, shops and beach.
