Value for your money hotel, friendly owner and staf. You really come to rest at this hotel just outside the village centre.
Skala Kalloni is perfect located on the middle of the island.

Had a great week's stay. All the staff, from the cleaners to the reception and bar staff, couldn't do enough for you and made you feel more than welcome. The pool was cleaned every day and no issues getting sunbeds.

Love this small family run hotel. No frills but lovely good lovely people lovely grounds. Easy walk to the village centre half a mile away. Near the beach and is prefer location for bird watching which our holiday was for in May.

Comfy room and beds. Childrens' play area. Large pool and nice pool area. 10 minute walk to centre of Skala Kalloni. Nice to have breakfast included, though some elements could be better quality. Helpful staff.

Clean, nice room, friendly staff, very calm and quiet. Only a stone's throw away from the village. Everything is well taken care of. Beds are a little firm (common Greek beds) but acceptable and can be swapped for softer, and they even include a fridge, free Wi-Fi and free air conditioning in your room. Breakfast is well done, not too large, and the lunch offer is fine as well. It's quite far to go anywhere with more touristic value however; a rental car is not very unusual. Potentially bicycle or scooter rentals if you're not planning to go very far, but be aware there is no public transport in Skala Kalloni.

We just return from Lesvos Island! We stayed at Aegeon hotel for 5 nights and everything was wonderful: the owners are very nice people, the hotel is very clean, staff very polite and always smiling! It is very close to the beach of Skala Kallonis and offers a swimming pool as well as (for those not so keen on circulation) in addition with a bar, where you can find drinks and meals. Our room was good and very cheap, plus it had a balcony with table and chairs, where you could relax after a long journey around the island. Breakfast (open buffet) was also nice, and Repeatitive, (as one other reviewer wrote) there is so many different things to eat, it's impossible, somewhat boring. On location it is very close to the beach, very close to the (Greek and cheap food) restaurants, bars, Cafés and market (all walking). And if you want some to move the island, Skala Kallonis is a strategic point for this purpose since.
