Chios Island Hotels

The Morning Star Hotel was a warm, comfortable, delightful experience. The owners were incredibly inviting with home cooked breakfast and knowledgeable destination recommendations. Loved the quiet pool area and location! Chios is spectacular.

This hotel completely made our stay in Chios wonderful. This is a beautiful family run hotel, they cater to your every need and are so sweet and personable. They have a breakfast that the mother makes me every morning and it is definitely worth it!
The hotel is clean, has a beautiful pool and a beach two minutes away!
I would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I loved our recent stay at this venue. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel warm and welcome. The hotel has beautiful rooms, great food. It is centrally located on the Island which makes a perfect base for discovering the various picturesque townships. A special thanks to Agapi, who assisted us with negotiating transport allowing us to visit various townships. Opa!

A authentic medieval building 300 years old, in a lovely quiet and relaxing village. You can smell the wonderful mastic smell around you. Is like living in a museum.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful and friendly and helped us improve our Greek; they made sure we had a splendid time. The breakfast had a good selection to suit all tastes and plenty of coffee. The rooms were beautifully cleaned every day. The swimming pool was perfect; it was absolutely clean and a perfect temperature.

Close to the city center (walking distance). We never took out the car when we go to the city center for dinner. It is just about 20 minutes of walking.
Going to south from the hotel is easy. But going north and northwest is a bit tricky because of the mountains in the north. In general, I can say the hotel is in great location.
It has great view at sea front. Only thing is, sea side rooms may be a bit noisy at night, because of the road.
Breakfast is great.

What makes "Skinari" extremely special is the wonderful couple Mrs and Mr. Pelandis. Their hospitality and charm will make any "difficult to please" quests abandon their thorny behavior and become as soft as cotton.

The hotel is simple but charming in an authentic Campos house still with its water well system in place in the courtyard. Rooms are clean and spacious, but fairly basic. Elena is a charming hostess, speaks excellent English and is very helpful with recommendations about the island. The price is reasonable.

The rooms were clean. The house is authentic. I would definitely stay again. I highly recommend the Topakas House. I would not consider to stay anywhere else.

My family is originally from this village, in fact my uncle lives on the hill just behind the apartment, however I prefer to have some private space especially now I'm married. I returned to the island after 10 years and I have to say that choosing to stay here was the best decision we could have made. The position is perfect, the three major beaches around the village are within 5 mins walking distance, however the best one which is Lefkathia is the closest, literally 5 min walk away.

This is a beautifully appointed apartment with a lovely view and a fabulous host who happily shares all her knowledge about the island with you. Note that you will DEFINITELY need to rent a car as it is about 40 minutes from the ferry and you will want to see the other towns and beaches of Chios. A GPS would also be helpful as the roads are often not marked and poorly lit.

Conclusion: the hotel is highly recommended… great service, all very friendly. Breakfast just great. The bungalows with space and tastefully furnished (sea view included). Huge lounge area and a very large pool deck. View of the Kerosbuch always a highlight… to the kite beach Keros about 500m and Aliki Beach (best rent a bike in the hotel) 10min driving time…
We felt very comfortable and would check in again and again at KerosBlue👍

An excellent restaurant experience with traditional dishes, prepared carefully with fresh ingredients, some of which come directly from their gardens. We tasted ”mpourekakia” stuffed with eggplant, spinach pies, cheesepies, mousaka and the dish of wildboar, which melted in my mouth, it was so full of flavor! I enjoyed equally the environment, the hospitality and the food and had a great evening with my family, for a great price.
