It’s the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed. Genuinely! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and friendly, they put a lot of heart in their work. The breakfast is a whole special experience, as they provide local produce (veggies, fruits, cheeses), and homemade cakes and cookies made by grandma, and extraordinary homemade jam and honey from their beehives…they play classical music in the reception room and always they to help with suggestions like local hikes and places to visit, not to mention their beautiful smile and the cosy beautiful space that they created to accommodate their visitors. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Iris Hotel! Erin and Ignatus made us feel completely at home. The location is peaceful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious (especially the carrot cake! )

I loved loved this place. The people running it are incredibly kind and warm. The patio is so pretty and the views of the mountain I love. The breakfast is wonderful as well. Super easy to walk into town. I would definitely rebook here.

This boutique hotel in Lesvos truly lives up to the sign at its entrance: “Home is here. ” From the very first moment, the hotel owners made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. We arrived later than the usual check-in time, and since we looked tired, they kindly offered us coffee together with the hotel’s special “grandma’s cookies. ” Such a thoughtful gesture made us feel instantly comfortable.
Breakfast was a delight, offering different homemade pies, cakes, and cookies each day, along with delicious choices similar to a traditional Turkish breakfast. The rooms were cleaned regularly, with fresh towels provided every other day. The location was also excellent — just five minutes from Molyvos, with easy parking right in front of the hotel.
The friendliness and warmth of the hotel owners made our stay truly memorable. We would happily stay here again on our next visit.

We took a last minute trip to Lesvos — Molyvos (Mithymna) last year (2024) and ended up at Villa Iris.
We fell in love with the hotel, as well as in the owners and atmosphere.
We just knew that we had to go back there this year and have just spent a week in Molyvos at Villa Iris. (2025)
If you long for the feeling to go away but "come home", Villa Iris is the right place.
The hotel and owners are absolutely wonderful, as are the breakfast offered daily. Local delicacies and love in every bite.
We are already planning for next year's stay and looking forward to coming back!

A particular highlight was the charming courtyard where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The meal featured a selection of premium local products, allowing us to savor the culinary heritage of Lesbos. It was a delightful beginning to each day, enriched by the freshness of the offerings and the serene ambiance of the setting.
Breakfast included fresh local bread, local feta cheese, greek salad, handmade cakes and sweets, orange juice, coffee, tea, olive oil, eggs, ham. Everything was delicious!

We were 2 couples that stayed at the Iris for nearly 2 weeks in August. We were met by Ignatis & Evi who helped us with our luggage to our rooms and a few minutes later bought us a cold beer each! Very much appreciated as it was hot! They had also put a big bottle of water in the fridge for us.
The rooms are fairly basic but they are cleaned every day and they're big enough to move around in. Air conditioning was either on or off but thank god it was there! The views are amazing (we overlooked the front of the hotel, our friends the back and the castle). Ignatis & Evi are the best hosts. So much knowledge about Lesvos, always ready to help with anything and told us of their plans for the hotel to upgrade it. They have already started with a few beautiful upgraded bathrooms and they intend to carry on once the season is over.
I couldn't recommend this hotel more. It's beautiful as it is, with fabulous breakfasts eaten under a wisteria covered courtyard. The hosts are so lovely and it's in a really good position for the shops, restaurants, for parking and for moving around the island. I look forward to seeing the upgraded rooms and thank Ignatis & Evi and their family for the most wonderful holiday xxx.

I loved staying in this family driven cozy villa hotel. There was space for quiet times, talking and in morning the best greek style buffet breakfast I've ever had in Greece. Rooms are rustic and traditional Greek, clean and with a large balcony with a great view of the lesvorian Nature. Service and welcoming feeling are top notch here.
The Hotel is within 10 min walking distance to both beach and restaurants of Molyvos.

We stayed for 2 nights at Villa Iris run by a very nice family. The room was okay for us, it has a balcony and the breakfast was delicious enough. I really recommend the homemade apricot jam. You can walk to the beach from the hotel. The last but not the least the owners were really really kind and friendly. They were extra helpful because we have a baby. And thanks for the little gift they gave us while leaving. We really enjoyed our stay, hope you’ll too.

This is a quiet and sober boutique hotel with an astonishing view of the mountain silhouette and the sea. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and the atmosphere is just perfect. It is a blessing to be cared by the hostess and the personal. We will most certainly come back!
