The views is superb, the aircon & ceiling fans keep the house cool.
There's a bakery 5 mins walk away. We ate croissants on the balcony. Nisi & Tropicana restaurants 3 mins walk up the hill, with many more restaurants just past there. Going down the hill, there's lots of restaurants en route to the harbour where you will find more restaurants including the superb Captains Table.
The road train is a must, also the ice creams & local shops too!

Our stay at Grand Rhea was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Melinda, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort — she was incredibly warm, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. If our travels bring us back to Molyvos, there's no doubt we’ll choose Grand Rhea again. Highly recommended!

A heartfelt thanks to Melinda and Theo for making our stay here so cozy. The location is outstanding with mesmerizing views of the Aegean. You could walk everywhere from here including the castle and an excellent bakery! Even though our stay was three short days, time stood still here in this sanctuary. And don’t worry about its proximity to the bars on the main drag: the windows and a/c make the space sound proof. I hope to return soon again. And definitely check out their son’s restaurant, The Captain’s Table at the harbor. ❤️

What a magical, romantic, beautifully designed villa. Grandview Rhea is part of a group of three villas (Grandview Houses) located at exactly the right spot in Molyvos — neither too far up the hill (too much to climb) or too far down (too busy). It is right in the middle with sweeping views of the harbor from two terraces. This villa is on two levels so that if one person wants to sleep in the other can go up to the beautifully equipped kitchen and lounge on the day bed or sit and have a coffee on the balcony, without disturbing your partner. The design is in lovely neutral tones which create a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Everything inside is new and fresh, but the stone walls and wooden accents respect the history of this divine Greek village. Although there are fun bars and cafes just a half a block away — Fuga has a great DJ! — the villa was miraculously quiet and tranquil. In fact we felt we were living everyone's fantasy of the perfect Greek holiday. The best breakfast spot in town "Tropicana" is a 2 minute walk from Grandview Rhea — start your morning with freshly squeezed juices and incredible Greek Yoghurt and fruit. The owner Melinda also owns the Captain's Table down on the port. The whole menu is fabulous but try the Banoffee Pie — you will thank me. We simply cannot recommend this villa enough. Two thumbs up!

The house has a magnificent view. The location of the house is wonderful. Decoration and architecture are amazing. It is close to everywhere, and also in a quiet and peaceful street. I will recommend the house to all my friends who are planning a honeymoon. We had a very nice holiday. Melinda is a wonderful host. Thank her very much for everything. If you are going to stay in Molyvos, I definitely recommend you to stay in one of these houses. It was the most comfortable accomodation we have ever stayed in.
