Eriphilly

Great hotel. Very nice pool. Very nice room with pool view. Comfy and large bed. Rooms are spacious with a small kitchen. Not all equipments you need are there but who wants to cook anyway on their Holliday;). Cristos and his team are very nice and makes you feel very welcome. They make lovely pizzas. And the Mithos draft beer is delicious, especially when you can drink it at the pool. Housekeeping ladies are very nice and clean very well. I would definitely come back here and can recommend it to anyone.

Lovely clean and spacious apartment with the most stunning views, we found the bed to be most comfortable however our son who was on the sofa bed would beg to differ as he found it uncomfortable. We didn't opt for air conditioning in the end as €10 per night seemed a little too expensive for us, same with the washing machine at €10 euto per wash. With both the window and the patio doors in the bedroom area open there was a beautiful breeze which meant air conditioning was not needed, the evenings and mornings were a lottle noisy with the soind of motorbikes and dogs barking but this is something that the hotel has noncontrol over, just be mindful if you are a light sleeper earplugs might be useful. Just outside our room appeared to be a chimney and at various times it blew out heavy black smoke which meant we had to close the doors as the smell of burning was too much for us.
We did not use the small cooker but the fridge was nice and cold with an added bonus of a small freezer compartment, the shower was lovely to use.
As we were on holiday we opted to use local Taxi firms to travel around and these arrived promptly and were reasonable prices, taxi numbers were provided to us from reception.

Lovely family-run hotel, the staff and cleaners are so friendly and will go out their way to help you at any time. Rooms were clean, hob didn’t work too great but we were still able to make toasties! Only fault with the room is that the beds were not comfy at all.
We stayed in a studio, and these are located on the ground floor so comes with just a terrace, not much privacy between neighbours and could see and hear them, luckily we had quiet neighbours.
20 min walk into town, well lit road with pavements most of the way (short 30second walk with no pavement). Local mini supermarket is about 10mins walk.
The hotel grounds is actually two hotels, Eriphilly in one block and Meraki in another block, more modern. Each hotel had its own pool but you can use both. Plenty of sunbeds and lovely drinks at the bar, €5.50 for large Mythos and €3.50 for 250ml of wine. Very quiet and peaceful around pool area and did have a TV showing sports events when requested.

We had a lovely relaxing two weeks. The apartments are far enough out of town to be quiet, but only 20-30 minute walk to plenty of shops and tavernas.

Situated just outside of the town of Molyvos about a 20 minute walk taxis can be ordered.
The apartments are of a good size, basic but have everything you need in peaceful surroundings, just occasionally the sounds of bells from the goats can be heard most apartments have a with a view of the castle and town There are two swimming pools on site both immaculate and have good sunbeds and parasols provided in a garden setting There is a good size bar serving drinks and meals, breakfast is also available. The owners are lovely people who go out of their way to ensure you have the best holiday nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed for week in July 23.1st visit to Molyvos and Eriphilly. Studio was small and dated but clean. Bins were emptied every day and towels replaced every other day. Good free Wi-Fi & aircon €7 per day. We didn't eat there but drinks and service were both good. Fantastic pool, probably one of the best in Molyvos, there were always sunbeds available. 20 minute stroll to the start of the resort, train stop and first bar. It's a further 15 minutes to the harbour but plenty of places to eat and drink enroute. Also bars and places eat in the village and by the beach. We walked every day but taxis could be ordered and were plentiful. Local bus to Petra and Anaxos stops at the bottom of the drive (both ways). We used it twice and it was very reliable. We would not have a problem staying here again if we return to Molyvos.

Loved this accommodation, kept spotless by the cleaners, everything you need for self catering and the owners were lovely. On arriving panicked as thought it was a long way from town, but easily walked in a couple of times a day, occasionally getting a taxi back, which cost 5 Euros. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment, these are on the first floor or above, they had 2 balconies and mine over looked Molyvous. The ground floor ones were studios. The one improvement that could be made would be if they stocked a few supplies to purchase, like milk and bread, we arrived Sunday afternoon and the supermarkets were closed. I don’t normally return to the same place, however I can understand why people return here every year, and I loved it so much I would go back. Molyvous is beautiful as well as being unspoilt. Back from a week at this hotel. Fabulous views from our apartment! The hotel is set amongst olive groves, and if you are into walking, we'll positioned to take advantage of the waymarked routes that have appeared since we were last in Molyvos.
We went with Jet2 and were in the original building. The apartment was a bit tired, but very clean. The owner and team were friendly and helpful.
The hotel does some food, sandwiches, omlettes etc and offer a single home cooked meal each evening. They offer an impressive breakfast buffet, which is prepared and replenished by the team. I had a lunchtime omlette, which was good.
There are 2 pools available. The original one is next to reception. It is clean and perfectly adequate. The second pool that sits in front of the newer apartment blocks however is beautiful! From the "beach" to the infinity pool to the surrounding grass area it is gorgeous. The garden areas are well maintained and it almost feels like you are a house guest.
The location is out of the town (about 1.5 miles from the harbour, 0.75 from the town, taxis €6 in Sep22). Both have an abundance of great value places to eat. Menus tend to be similar and all portions we had were large. We started to have no starter, a meal and a salad between 2 of us and sometimes a dessert.
I would definitely return to the Eriphilly.

Lovely breakfast with homemade croissants and pancakes although the bacon, fried eggs was always cold. Rooms and swimming pool area very clean, although air conditioning was 7 euros a day.
Which wasn't implied on hotel website. Also on the website it says molyvos centre was 600m away. It was at least 20/25 mins walk away on steep cobbled streets, so not good if you have mobility issues. We were later told centre was 1.5 km away from hotel.

My family has visited many hotels and the level of hospitality, cleanliness, friendly and family environment, level of detail and taste, tidiness, helpfulness is so pleasantly surprising that we will make it an annual summer visit! The pool gives the vibe as if you are at a beach. The beautiful view of the picturesque village of Molyvos from our balcony view was so romantic! At sunset you could see the lighted castle, so wonderful! The breakfast was excellent! Everything was cooked by the staff, it wasn't a typecast breakfast with pre cooked typical goods that you just take out of the freezer. It gives the feeling as if your Greek grandmother prepared your breakfast. The room was very clean and the cleaning lady was coming every day — very important!
It is a family friendly hotel, which gives a quiet and calm — zen vibes.
All in all it is a must visit accomodation if you travel to northern Lesvos. You definitely won't regret it! It gives the word "meraki" an excellent interpretation <3
