We recently had the very great pleasure of a two week stay at The Captain’s View in beautiful Molyvos. Hosted by Melinda and Theo, we couldn’t have asked for more. The view in question is magnificent. From the balcony eyrie, we overlooked the Aegean Sea… such a luxury! Coffees early in the day, or wine in the evening, to enjoy spectacular sunsets whilst enjoying both the picturesque harbour and its activities, and lights across the bay from intriguing hill towns coming on. Simply stunning. The house itself is a delight. Two bedrooms each with an ensuite; a sitting room with the same wonderful views, and a kitchen that provided everything we needed to cook using local produce. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who responded to our queries and requests. They were wonderful! Wine to greet us; coffee machine; books in the cute loft area for those days spent simply enjoying the beautiful space. We loved our time at the Captain’s View and hope that we can come again soon.
