Belvedere Aeolis Hotel

Really enjoyed our 2 week stay.
We booked B&B but eat once and was thankful we didn’t go all inclusive. Rooms were nice with AC and the grounds are spacious. 2 lovely pools. Would definitely come back again as located short bus shuttle to town which has plenty of tavernas. Not recommended if you struggle walking and using steps.

I had the most amazing time I agree the food isn't the best and repetitive, however the location and the room me and my daughter had (330) was out of this world. Rooms are clean the staff are lovely and cant do enough for you. I loved every minute of it and would definitely return if I was guaranteed that room.

It was the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had.
Although the hotel looks nice in the listings, it's nothing like that in reality. The hotel is located 65 km from the city center, and the only transportation is a bus that runs just four times a day on the island. Otherwise, you're forced to take a taxi and pay an exorbitant price, as the hotel offers no shuttle service to the center whatsoever.
Even if you take the bus to Molyvos, the walk from the bus stop to the hotel takes 40 minutes, and there’s no transportation available! The hotel has a completely useless shuttle that only runs four times a day. And since the shuttle times overlap with the bus schedule, it's absolutely impractical. Moreover, the hotel shuttle doesn’t even drop you near the stop—it leaves you in a remote, unrelated location that’s a 25-minute walk away!
The hygiene at the hotel was a disaster! The rooms were the most disgusting I’ve ever stayed in. We couldn’t rest for the first three days due to the mosquitoes in the room, and during the last two days, we saw centipedes, ant swarms, and even a lizard inside.
When we reported it to the reception, they showed no concern and responded with a "so what? " attitude. After insisting, they sent someone for cleaning, but the person couldn’t get rid of the creatures—on the contrary, they scattered all over the room, and we had to change rooms as a result.
The pool, unlike how it appears in the pictures, was dirty and full of bugs.

Hotel located on a beautiful, hilly domain with stunning views of the sea and Turkey. There’s a small beach with sun loungers, just a short walk downhill. However, the most important aspect of any hotel stay is a good bed, and unfortunately, that was lacking. The mattress was as hard as concrete, and I didn’t get a good night’s sleep even once. The mattress toppers were all on loan and therefore not available. It seems like an issue that could be easily fixed, but no improvements have been made, despite it being a common complaint. The hotel itself is quite outdated but clean, which was fine for us. The family room was spacious, though the bathroom was very small and looked like it was straight out of the 70s – it reminded me of my grandparents' place! Take note: there’s a noisy air conditioning unit on the terrace, which was a bit of a letdown. As for the meals, they were generally okay, though the bread was dry and tasteless.

1st time at this hotel, the staff were so lovely and very friendly! The hotel room was very clean and air con was perfect tho was leaking outside! Beds and pillows so uncomfortable the shower was bad either cold no hot water or the power was very weak! Hotel was clean easy access around the place. Infinity pool was lovely with a view of Turkey but the pool could do with a clean. Jacuzzi was broken it was still filled with water with dirty at the bottom and loads of dead flys… catering was okay food warm doesn’t have labels of what the food was just picture what it is, drink selection nice limited, dislike the cheap plastic thin cups around the pool. The hotel is a little out the way shuttle bus available (7 seats only) again doesn’t drop you right into town can be a horrid walk in the heat you still have to walk 5-10 minutes to town. The massage at the hotel was amazing dislike the room was right in reception and can be loud. Wi-Fi not the greatest either.

The basics: rooms are really clean — no mould, no odours, cleaned daily with a fresh set of towels. (greetings for our cleaning lady ) The food: a vast variety of dished changing during the week. You can try dishes from Greek cuisine as well as others, made, let’s say, for the liking of a universal guest (including children). Facilities: two pools: one for everyone, close to the main bar, the other called a ‘relax bar’ (also with a bar) for adults only. Both beautiful, clean and with a lot of deckchairs and umbrellas. Beaches: one 300 meters from the hotel (let’s say ‘wild’, but we liked it), the others — in two nearby towns / villages (there is a bus from the hotel and back, free of charge, it takes about 5 minutes to get there).
Enough facts. Now, the feelings! From the moment you approach the reception desk you feel embraced. Then, you get more and more! The staff at the bar and at the restaurant are amazing! It’s a really hard work for them but still, they care for people with so much kindness, always with a smile, and a ‘small talk’ replies. (in different languages ). Even if you stayed at the hotel for a week, it seemed that they noticed you right away. It is a very rare quality nowadays, you feel really welcome there. And the surroundings! You get the sea and the mountains in one package! There is nothing more you could ask for!

The hotel itself is nice and clean however, could do with updating.

This hotel is all set on different levels with lots of steps and slopes in between things.
We were in an apartment building about a 7-10 min walk away from the main part of the hotel where everything is. Not a problem for us however, the walk up to the hotel is tiring.
The food is ok, not much choice as there must be a menu in rotation. The pizza was nice as was the pasta at lunch. We only ate dinner at the hotel once in our week stay and it was ok. As many other reviews mention the food was lukewarm however, that’s just Greece. You wouldn’t want hot food it’d be too much.
The food was fresh and as soon as something was getting low it was replaced with a full tray.
The dining room could do with a bigger serving area and more spaces to sit.
The room itself was ok. Basic furniture, small shower with a curtain which stuck to you. The water in the shower was nice and warm and the pressure was good.
Again, the bathroom and room were tired and need an upgrade but when you’re only sleeping and storing in there it’s fine. Fridge in the room and air con which was nice.
The beach nearby (10 — 15 min walk) is small but nice and very quiet. We spent an afternoon there and were the only people there for hours.

Paid my Trip through travel company Spies who gives this hotel 3+. Which is almost a 4 star.
Positive: beautiful view to the see, pools okay. Surroundings at the hotel fine.
Negative: the food is very simple, not healthy, fat, and very low quality.
The room extremely outdated, not cleaned well enough.
For me this hotel is only a 2 star hotel mostly because of the food and rooms.
Disappointed, but I read the reviews before I came here, and I new already that I could be disappointed.

Molyvos is a beautiful place… HOWEVER this hotel did not tick the boxes for us!
The rooms. Yes, cleaned well, the staff work hard, spacious with traditional style furniture but the rooms are old and urgently need a refurb! The bathrooms are extremely dated. Cracked mouldy tiles, a shower cubicle that’s sized for a child, with an old shower curtain that sticks to you. Yes there’s running water but it needs time to warm up.
The pools are gorgeous with fantastic views, lovely and calm and peaceful but the smell of sewage spoils the day for us. Drinks are plentiful but in very small cups.
We do not consider ourselves at all fussy eaters but the food! I expect it luke warm, this is standard for Greek hotels. But the lack of choice! Do not expect to see an omlette station or a full feta Greek salad or morning rolls. We found the cereal stale, no yogurt for the cereal or fruit and the toaster either threatened the bread or cremated only one side of it.
We found ourselves eating out more than we ate at the hotel, which in itself isn’t a bad thing as Molyvos is stunning as is Petras. Petra’s beach is amazing with plenty of sunbeds and bars. Well worth the 13 euros each way for a lovely day out, don’t forget your snorkels.
The hotel is extremely hilly with lots of steps to climb in the heat and is not within walking distance of anywhere. However a free minibus to Molyvos is provided 4 times a day.
The staff are friendly and welcoming.

A wonderful, traditional hotel in a spectualr location. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff and friendly, welcoming and extremely hard working. The food offering is delecious and includes traditional Greek dishes. The chef is so diligent and attentive. Wouldn't change a thing!

What makes a place is the people. The hotel has a lovely staff, from the cleaning service to the drivers. The food is good and diverse! So you don’t eat the same things every day. Belvedere also has the most beautiful view you can imagine — Molyvos, the Aegan sea and Turkey, so lots to choose from for your photos. Wishing this place all the best from Poland.

I think my original review has been removed. All in All a horrible experience. Went with a group of 14 and we were installed in a separate villa / bungalow 10-15 walk, on the main street, from the restaurant. Had paid for double room with single use and seaview; got the smallest darkest room ever with a very small bed, no sea view, no Wi-Fi, no hot water. And it was difficult to find our way. Our travel agent agreed — she had never seen anything like it and she had another hotel arranged next day. And as if all this was not enough — the reception lady was the rudest person I ever met coming up with all sort of excuses.

Horrible experience. I was in a group of 14 and we were put in a villa/bungalow 15 min walk from the restaurant. No wi fi, no hot water and the villa was hard to find. There were no sea view — which we paid for specifically. I paid for a double room with single use and the room I got had one bed and almost no room for my suitcase. The reception lady was rude and practically denied what we experienced. Our travel agent agreed with us and we were all moved to another hotel the next day.

Good hotel with friendly People. Good food and drinks. Nice Pool! for a top holiday.
