Irida Resort

This is a fantastic place, the suits are very comfortable and has everything you need: the kitchen, the bed is very comfortable, the balcony and terrace with the sea view. The food was delicious with the home made eggs, olive oil and olives. The owners are very helpful and welcome, we were treated as celebrities. The beach and sea was great with cafes and restaurants. We rented a car and travel around the area as well. There were so many places to see. We highly recommend the area and Irida suites!

From the moment I arrived at Irida Resort Suites I felt the warmth of a true Greek welcome. Owner Kostas and his lovely wife Irene offered me an upgraded room which I was invited to choose for myself! Irene and hotel assistant Lelu prepared a great breakfast each day with specially cooked dishes and a wide variety of breads, ham, cheese, cereals, yogurts, cakes and so much more. The hotel room was exceptionally clean with everything you could need including balcony with sea view, kitchenette, fridge, coffee machine, bathroom with hairdryer, plus TV and a very comfortable bed. Best of all the tap water is drinkable and of high quality so no need for bottled water. The hotel is in a quiet location by the beach where conservationists work to protect the turtles. When I was there turtle eggs were hatching and being transported in buckets by volunteers further along the beach where they were released into the sea in an area specially prepared for this purpose. A short walk from the hotel leads to a few local restaurants right by the sea, serving delicious traditional dishes in a busy cheerful atmosphere. Although I stayed on my own at the hotel, I had 6 friends staying at a private villa nearby. Kostas and Irene invited them all to the hotel for drinks, melon chunks and hot corn on the cob! It was a very enjoyable occasion and a great example of my hosts kindness and generosity. I really enjoyed my week at Irida Resort and one day hope to return!
