Poseidon Poseidon Hotel

A hotel with a great location, wonderful rooms, and a very good breakfast. We stayed one night in the ground floor apartment No. 2. The room has all the equipment you may need (kettle, coffee machine, oven, refrigerator, stove, …). You can reach the sea with just 20 steps and swim alongside the children sailing nearby. The receptionist kindly allowed us to check in early and also let us leave our luggage at the reception after check-out.

Excellent service from the lady at the reception – she responds quickly and is very helpful! The hotel is in a great location – quiet and peaceful, and in very good condition. The rooms are spacious; ours had a terrace with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast is served in the adjacent building, just a 20-second walk away. Very tasty and varied. They offer espresso for an additional charge, but American coffee is included in the breakfast. I recommend it!

Fabulous hotel in the perfect location on Kastellorizo. The staff were all brilliant. Really helpful and friendly. We had a lovely apartment that was clean and comfortable. My husband and I were in the main double bedroom and our friend who we were travelling with slept on a comfortable sofa bed in the living area.
Our balcony overlooked the harbour and the hotel was a wonderful location to wake up in. Breakfast was fresh with a lovely selection of sweet and savoury food, really delicious and we were made to feel very welcome. I look forward to our next trip.

Just completed a stay at the Poseidon hotel. Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were just as advertised super functional, clean, and good space. You can’t beat the location.
We thoroughly enjoyed on the balcony and the delicious breakfast.

September 2024. We stayed in the 3 Story Villa Avalonia. The staff were amazing and the property was fantastic. We were travelling with a friend and this Villa offered privacy with each floor having its own bathroom.
Breakfast was plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Kastellorizo is magical!

Excellent accomodation in Kastellorizo with great view from the balconies overlooking the port. The staff is really very friendly and attentive and willing to help you in every possible way they can. The rooms inside are very nicely decorated and quite spacious. The breakfast served in the hotel's yard with a wonderful view to the port is superb offering great variety. I highly recommend this place and would choose it again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kastelorizo. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the port, offering stunning views and easy access to everything. The local breakfast was a highlight—delicious and authentically Greek. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kastelorizo!

Well located on this small island town, with pretty views across the harbour, depending on which room you stayed in. We were in an apartment, which is yet to be updated, but was comfortable and clean, and spacious. Some of our party were in the recently renovated rooms which were extremely light, airy and pretty. The staff at Poseidon were wonderful — friendly, happy to assist, and welcoming. Breakfast was great with a good selection. Having a very informal bar arrangement for a late afternoon drink in the courtyard was great. I recommend staying here to enjoy the very warm hospitality of this family business.

The hotel is perfectly located, in a really quiet area.
Staff was really nice and thoughtful throughout the whole stay.
Breakfast was amazing! Buffet full of delicious food, that we enjoyed in the little square with tables and umbrellas.
The room was clean, but remember to book in advance in order to get the best rooms!

I can't praise the lovely staff at this hotel enough. We are a family group of 7, these people looked after us like family, they are what makes this hotel so special, the people running it.
We had a few rooms, they were all well appointed, fresh, tidy, amazing view of the harbour from our room, exceptional breakfast at the cafe below.
The the ladies in reception, housekeeping and the man who runs the cafe, thank you very much for making our stay on Kastellorizo so enjoyable.

Functional, clean, good rooms. The houses are beautiful and well painted.
Reception stinks of old cigarettes.
We understand that the season has barely started but a few mishaps: No warning of the (very heavy) construction works starting at 7:00, no breakfast…

Everything about the hotel was very nice. Especially the width of the rooms was sufficient. The view is wonderful. You can find everything you are looking for for breakfast. The lady who owns the hotel is very kind and helpful. We had a pleasant conversation with her. We will definitely choose this hotel in our future travels.
