Windmill Hotel

Hardly want to share this dream hotel as dont wish to find I cannot book it for a 3rd time! The perfect sea front location / gorgeous pool / a huge variety of chairs and sun beds on lawns with parasols. Spotlessly clean rooms and setting — the staff are AMAZING! Noise is cut off by 12.00 but through the day a really beautiful gentle selection of smooth jazz sounds drift across you as you laze or have a drink or snack!
This is really an adults only hotel, or suitable for those with a tiny tot (this is great and something we value) … fantastic buffet breakfast very 'Greek' with gorgeous breads fresh fruit nuts cold meats and cheeses along with delicious coffee (alternatives are available ie sausages/ omelettes etc etc)
By evening you can treat yourself to a ocean side dinner experience or take the 5 mins walk into town and choose one of the MANY family tavernas bars or coffee shops.

Wow, I wasn't expecting alot for a 2* hotel but I was very impressed. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels galore! Exceptional breakfast, something for everybody. Different breads, pastries, meats & cheeses, fruit and cereals. Lovely coffee machine with an excellent selection. All staff friendly and smiley! We had a terrace room which was lovely to just step down to the sunlounges and pool area. Didn't get the sun here but kept the room nice and cool. Great snack selection from the bar area, reasonable prices too. Tip — If you scroll through the TV channels you'll find an English playing radio station! Also, the lady that works in the bar, doesn't stop! So lovely, and such a hard worker. Great hotel!

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Windmill Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The main drawbacks were the very small TVs in the rooms and the breakfast selection. While the English breakfast was well prepared, I would have preferred to try more traditional Greek dishes. When visiting Greece, experiencing the local cuisine is part of the holiday, and English breakfasts are something I can easily have every day in the UK. Apart from that, the hotel offers good value and a nice atmosphere. ”

Outstanding service with a smile, large balcony with sea view. Always clean rooms and pool, poolbar with diverse snacks and great food. Breakfast is outstanding with fantastic choices for everyone and seating outside in the morning.
Location between Zante town and sea resorts and many beaches. Renting a car or bike is neccesary to travel the beautiful island.

Lovely room — had a suite on the ground floor with an outdoor whirlpool and nice outdoor space with a gate to the pool. Whirlpool worked well at a good temperature for August. Good bathroom with toiletries. Comfy bed.
I don't think the floor was swept the week we were there so I was mopping up the dust and hair.
The breakfast experience was not great. There were wasps everywhere and not enough tables or if there were empty ones, dirty plates with wasps swarming so you didn't want to sit down.
Reception ordered a taxi to Zante Town for us — it didn't turn up and we had to chase it. A couple were also waiting. Only one taxi turned up and reception said we could all get in it — we couldn't. Not sure what happened but a call was made and a mini bus with other people in it turned up. We had waited for about an hour but the driver of the mini bus was very apologetic and came across well.
The music in the pool bar went on until midnight which isn't late really but it did mean you could hear the 'boom, boom' sound of it in your room. I'm not a great sleeper so this was probably more of problem for me than it would be for others.
Other than that the rooms were nice and quiet through the night until the clattering of breakfast. We weren't overlooking he road so got the music but not the traffic.
The pool was lovely and no issues getting a sunbed even in August.
Had some food from the pool bar — delicious.
Used the restaurant and bar — very good and nice wine.

A nice hotel with large rooms that is equipped with all comforts with an excellent bed and pillows. Good cleaning and towel changes. We stayed in room 102 and there the walk-in shower overflowed, because the drain is higher than the tiles (don't have any rooms and no big problem! ). We also think that the hotel offers little privacy, because the hotel is built in an archery bow and has glass balconies in the front. People sitting from balcony watching you in your jacuzzi. Swimming Laps in the sea and lie on sunbeds by the pool or lawn gras. It's a significant amount of money for such a vacation, but well worth the memories. We come back!

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at both windmill hotels. This year we stayed at windmill hotel and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect and the rooms are lovely clean and modern. The staff are all so friendly (even our maid was lovely) which really brightens each day. The pool and bar area are amazing. The pool is huge and never an issue to get a lounger and the food from the bar is absolutely top notch! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Next year we are back to windmill bay and I can’t wait to stay in the beautiful upgraded rooms and have the seafront location! No doubt we will be back to both again in the future. Thank you for the perfect family holiday ♥️

We just got back from windmill Bay, I can't fault one thing the hotel was spotless, the staff we're all so friendly, and the view's we're amazing such a beautiful place ❤️ we will defo be back again!

Extremely comfortable, well run hotel. Our suite was huge, with a super big balcony, and the whole hotel was always kept immaculately clean. The staff cannot be faulted — so friendly and helpful. Very unusual to ask for a sewing kit and be presented with one with the correct colour thread! We were very sad to leave…

We have been here a week and what an amazing week it’s been. Highly recommend the hotel food, the restaurant is absolutely amazing. We had the junior suit with sea view and jacuzzi which was amazing as well. The staff are all super friendly and will do anything to help. We would say we have had a 5* service. The photos don’t to this place justice. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous place to stay, everywhere is spotlessly clean, nice rooms, good food and drink, fab friendly people. Always happy to help.

Staff are brilliant from the cleaners to the bar and reception staff. Can't do enough for you, especially Effe who always greets you with a smile. Best hotel in Greece.

First time in Zante and this hotel was perfect great location good food and very friendly staff. I had an accident whilst on this holiday and the manager and staff could not have been more caring, considerate and helpful to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. Can’t thank them enough xxx.

Very clean and friendly, currently into our 2nd week but definitely would be coming back again.
