Greece will never disappoint! The cleanest beaches with the most pristine waters. And the people are beyond welcoming and did I mention the food?! If you love fish then this is your place. The freshest grilled fish you will ever eat! Also, for dessert — Baklava will never disappoint! Greece is paradise and I most definitely want to go back… again and again!
A great beach — definitely worth the drive over from Argostoli for us. We left early to get there for 10:00 and got a free parking space at the bottom of the road (there are car parks that are charged for but the road is free). Most of the beds were free and we went left, to be charged €6 for two beds. The beach is made of tiny pebbles that can hurt your feet if they're not very tough, so take flip flops and sea shoes if you're not good on pebbles! If you prefer peace and quiet, go towards the left side facing the sea as there are less rows of beds and no restaurants nearby. We initially took the front-left beds and thought we had an amazing spot until we got flooded by a wave! But we think we went of a day with big waves as other pictures show a very tranquil cove… The restaurants are very reasonable and good value for money — we had tuna salad and a stuffed burger which were both large and tasty portions. We know we didn't see the best of Petani because of the huge waves on that day, so giving a 5 star rating as it's that kind of place.
