Beautiful place very friendly people cant do enough for you the apartment is very clean and the beds so comfy would come again.

Familie BBQ is een aanrader, geweldig verzorgd echt verwennerij. in English; … Natasha and Maria immidiately made us feel at home. The etablishement is run by a warm family. The BBQ they serve is delicious and we ate more then we should have. Great hospitality and the spoilling made us feel sad to leave so soon. 8 days for vissiting Kefalonia is realy to short. In the future we will see you again. Can't say thank you enough so thumbs up.

This place is amazing, the staff are very friendly. The loudness of the planes is amazing!

What can I say?! The bus dropped us off not even 5 minutes from the airport… the Sandy Beach Villas complex is literally level with the end of the airport runway! The other passengers were sniggering as we got off the bus but as soon as we stepped through the gate, there was Mario and Natassa with big welcoming smiles … we looked around and realised we were home!
What a lovely place! The Sandy Beach family (Mario, Natassa and their daughter Helene and her family) are friendly, welcoming, thoughtful and wonderful hosts. The small resort is immaculate and Mario is obviously so proud of the grounds … and of course his winery! His Merlot is the best without a doubt.
Breakfast is a light continental for €12 which you just need to let Natassa know if you need it the night before if possible.
The bbq on the second night was €30 each… goat burgers, wild sheep steaks, chicken, pork, roasted vegetables, Greek salad, home made wines … well worth it, but a word of warning! … don’t fill up on the bread, otherwise you won’t finish it! There’s loads of food!
The local beach is a 5min walk around the corner and there are a few bars and restaurants close by but to properly see the island you’ll need to hire a car, at least for a few days.
Mario recommended a few places to eat in the evening and all were well worth the effort, especially the lower restaurant at Avithos Beach. The beach bar there was fantastic too.

Clean spacious apartments with air conditioning. Lovely beds with 2 big pillows! I have slept like a baby. The garden is lovely and well taken care of. Quiet and private surroundings.

The hotel is located right next to the Kefalonia airport runway and thus very loud as airplane traffic starts at around 7am and ends around 10/11 pm. The complex is beautiful and very well maintained. Many flowers and threes. Also the grass is trimmed perfectly. At first Mario welcomed us in a very friendly way. He offered us home-made wine and showed us the rooms. The apartments were beautiful and clean. He invited us to eat in the hotel as he would prepare a barbecue. After we denied (as the price of 35€ per adult for swordfish including side dishes and wine) seemed a lot (for Greece) he started to be less friendly. After five days of our departure the manager sent us a message saying we broke two chairs and a shower head and that she will debit 109, 90€ from the credit card. This is a very disrespectful, unnecessary and ultimately stupid way of trying to get some more money out of us. This short time thinking and disrespectful treatment of customers results in a terrible rating.

The location is very good, nice also the swimming pool. Convenient to the beach 100 metres away if you want to take a bath, the water is wonderful as in all the rest of the island.

Mario and Natassa are extremely friendly people. Clean and complete appartements with a big kitchenette. You can order everything you want and if they do not have it, they will arrange it for you. Great wine from their own vineyard.
