Hotel Delta in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Hotel Delta located and what is nearby?

The hotel is located in the very heart of Lamia. Thanks to this central location, guests have convenient access to major city landmarks. However, due to its proximity to two main streets, street noise may be audible in the rooms.

Does the hotel have its own parking?

Since the hotel is located downtown, street parking can be challenging. Nonetheless, Hotel Delta takes care of its guests and provides a dedicated parking area.

How polite is the staff, and how does the front desk service operate?

Most guests describe the staff as very friendly, polite, welcoming, and always smiling. The employees are noted for being tactful and helpful. However, there was an isolated negative front desk experience where a guest encountered rudeness and a lack of apology regarding an equipment issue in the room.

What kind of breakfast is offered at the hotel, and what is its quality?

The hotel serves breakfast in a pleasant and attractive dining area. Guest reviews regarding the food quality are mixed: while some rate the service and breakfast as good, others felt the food was not very tasty and would not recommend it to those who consider breakfast a top priority.

How is the soundproofing in the rooms, and is outside noise audible?

The soundproofing at the hotel leaves something to be desired. Guests note that it is quite noisy in the rooms due to the location near two main streets. It is also mentioned that everything happening nearby can be heard inside the rooms, including the sound of dripping water in the bathroom.

What condition are the rooms in, and are the beds and mattresses comfortable?

Opinions on the condition of the rooms are divided. Many guests find them spacious and lovely, while others note that the hotel is dated and in need of renovation. There are notable complaints regarding extremely uncomfortable, firm mattresses with noticeable springs and hard pillows. Guests also mentioned lighting issues (burnt-out lightbulbs), broken window shutters, and the absence of blackout curtains, which allows sunlight to enter the room early in the morning.

How clean is Hotel Delta, and is housekeeping performed regularly?

The majority of guests praise the cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and meticulous. However, there are conflicting reviews: one guest described the room as dirty, mentioning leftover water bottles in the refrigerator from previous occupants.

Are there any unpleasant odors in the rooms, and how is the ventilation?

Some guests complain of unpleasant odors in the rooms and bathrooms. A strong smell of tobacco in the reception area was also noted, as staff members smoke indoors.

What additional amenities and facilities are available in the rooms?

The hotel features an elevator, which is convenient for families with children and guests with luggage. In-room safes are provided; however, one guest noted that the safe was not securely mounted and could easily be stolen.
